OUVER PLAYERS OPEN AT MURRAY MONDAY NIGHT
- Commencing Monday night Otla OllTer tad hla players will inatigurata a Bhort season of Btock at the Murray. The plays will be changed twice a week, Monday and . Thursday. The opening play will be "In Walked Jimmy" it is structurally somewhat on the order of "Along Came Ruth." "The Fortune Hunter" and perhaps six oth- ; ers which are founded on the old idea ) that "Nothing succeeds like success." i The lines and dialogue are even more j materially and designedly constructive than in any other of these plays. ! The thing into which Jimmy walked
was a broken down shoe factory when the clerks had all been fired, when ejection was imminent, and when the proprietor had a pistol at his head in serious contemplation of suicide. Jimmy, nothing else but plain Jimmy, would hare been a mysterious figure had It not been for his matter-of-fact manner, his smile and everlasting humanness. He pots the shoe business on its feet, or rather on the feet of several hundred thousand babies, wins the heart of the girt clerk, saves the erring brother from jail, escapes that places as a permanent boarding house himself, and foils' the vlllian.
"DEVIL'S DOUBLE" FEATURES HART
Picture-plays in which William 9. Hart has appeared have been so consistently thrilling that his very name, it is claimed, emblasoned from the theater front, never fails to suggest a fierce fight, a wild chase or other sensational Incident. And the latest vehicle in which this popular star appears. "The Devil's Double," at Murray Sunday, by J. 0. Hawks, is declared to uphold more firmly than ever the Triangle standard in this regard.
