AMUSEMENTS AT LOCAL HOUSES
"TWIN BEDS" NEXT The announcement of the Washington theatre for Friday, Feb. 2, is Salisbury Field and Margaret Mayo's uproariously funny comedy, "Twin Beds," which comes with a record of one whole year in New York and Is now in its second year in London. "Tvln Beds" is conceded to be the best and most diverting comedy ever written. New ventures are difficult and new trails hard to follow, but in "Twin Beds," Mr. Field and Miss Mayo are said to have written the typical comedy upon a new and original idea, with an air of possibility and plausibility.
MURRETTE Conway Tearle, who will be seen on the screen of the Murrette theatre on Thursday and Friday in the role opposite Clara Kimball Young in her Selznick-Pictures production of "The Foolish Virgin," has the distinction of being the most sought-after leading man on the American stage. So great is the demand for the handsome and versatile Mr. Tearle's services in support of feminine stars that he has been seen in the last few years as the leading man for no less a galaxy of famous women of the stage than Ethel Barrymore, Grace George, Billie Burke, Viola Allen and Margaret Anglin. MURRAY Otis Oliver and associate players who were here at the Murray last year are returning for a short season of

The sale of seats for "In Walked Jimmy" 6tarts Friday morning at the Murray box office. BIRTH OF A NATION Cavalry experts figure that the life of a horse in war times is. about ten days. These high-strung animals knock under to the nervous strain of battle. When D. W. Griffith was building his big scenes for "The Birth of a Nation" he used 3,000 horses. These were used in relays and each horse was given a two days' . rest between times that it was used in the mimic warfare. In this way the producer was able to save all of the fine horses and not a fatality was charged up against the production.

CATARRH LEADS TO CONSUMPTION
Catarrh Is as much a blood disease
as scrofula or rheumatism. It may
be relieved, but it cannot be removed by simply local treatment. It causes headache and dizzines, impairs the teste, smell and hearing, affects the voice, deranges the digestion, and breaks down the general health. It
weakens the delicate lung tissues and,
leads to consumption. Hood's Sarsaparilla goes to the seat of the trouble, purifies the blood, and is so successful that it is known as the best remedy for catarrh. Hood's Sarsaparilla strengthens and tones the whole system. It builds up. Ask your druggist for Hood's, and insist on having it. There is no real substitute. Adv.

A Free Prescription You Can Have Filled and Use at Home Philadelphia, Pa. Do you wear glasses? Are you a victim of eye strain or other eye weaknesses? If so, you will be glad to know that according to Dr. Lewis there is real hope for you. Many whose eyes were failing say they have had their eyes restored through the principle of this wonderful free prescription. One man says, after trying it: "I was almost blind; could not see to read at all. Now I can read everything without any glasses and my eyes do not water any more. At night they would pain dreadfully; now they feel fine all the time. It was like a miracle to me." A lady who used it says: "The atmosphere seemed hazy with or without glasses, but after using this prescription for fifteen days everything seems clear. I can even read fine print without glasses." It is believed that thousands who wear glasses can now discard them In a reasonable time and multitudes more will be able to strengthen their eyes so as to be spared the trouble and expense of ever getting glasses. Eye troubles of many descriptions may be wonderfully benefited by following the simple
rules. Here Is the prescription: Go to any active drug store and get a bottle of Bon-Opto tablets. Drop one Bon-Opto tablet in a fourth of a glass of water and allow to dissolve. With this liquid bathe the eye two to four times daily. You should notice your eyes clear up perceptibly right from the start and inflammation will quickly disappear. If your eyes are bothering you, even a little, take steps to save them now before it is too late. Many hopelessly blind might have been saved if they had cared for their eyes in time. Note: Another prominent Physician to whom the above article was submitted, said: "Bon-Opto is a very remarkable remedy. Its constituent ingredients are well known to eminent eye specialists and widely prescribed by them. The manufacturers guarantee it to strengthen eyesight 50 per cent in one week's time in many instances or refund the money. It can be obtained from any good druggist and is one of the very few preparations I feel should be kept on hand for regular use in almost every family." It is sold in this city by A. G. Luken & Co.
