MUNCIE, 6; INDIANS, 3 MUNCIE, Ind., Jan. 31 Billy Jette's. splash into the sociable circles of the Indiana State League was not a success in every way. This is attested by the robust score the Muncie triple offensive of Williams, Fahrner, Thonipeon caucus rajig up in the IndianCampbell party athe Muncie rink lust night.
The fact Is, Jette didn't set the Campbell rink on fire with his brand of denatured Pence-Hueffner work. Mayhap the vet from way down East had an off night. Those things happen t the best of polo players. Jette's work was but characteristic of the all round Indianapolis performance. Lewis, Jpnn and Loxen, usually so active, RewriPd to re affectod bv the spring balminess. Doc Harold played his usual eame, which by the way, was very usual. - Taking the eame as a whole, Muncie led easily. The Magic City warriors had four goals before Indianapolis had singled. The Indians waited until the last frame before they opened up and then their dedicatory services were very brief and unproductive of material results. Now that Billy Jette has broken in, the coming of Billy Duggan is awaited. The New Castle press announces that Duggan "positively" will be with New Castle against Jlichmond Thursday.
Duggan, who is known as the "Ty Cobb of Polo," is billed to arrive today or tomorrow morning. Muncie, Indianapolis and New Castle have taken their turn at strengthening. What about the Quakers?
Third Period. Muncie Thompson 1:39 Indianapolis. Lewis 1:35 Indianapolis.. Jean 2:25 Muncie.. Fahrner 5:32 Summary. Goals Fahrner, 3; Thompson, 2; Lewis, 2; Williams, 1; Jean, 1. Rushes Williams, 8; Lewis, 4. Stops Jette, 3S; Pence, 37. Referee Fletcher (Muncie.) Attendance 750.
There is little doubt about it that Thompson has come back. His goal six seconds after the start at Muncie last night bespeaks of his old time form. Billy Jfette, the newcomer, was not near as good as Freddie Pence. The two had practically the same number of stops. The Easterner mussed up eix of Freddie's three. It must, however, be taken into consideration that Jette has been out of the game for some time. Art Fletcher, the veteran Muncie rusher, officiated at Muncie. He will serve there hereafter.
Williams, two; Thompson, Lewis, Jean and Loxen figured in assist plays. - Ted Lewis 'committed the only foul called by Fletcher. Wayne Fahrner continues to go good. Hi3 three goals helped. Art Campbell says: Watch your step, Richmond.

THE NEW METHOft
(By L. W. Bower, M.D.) Backache of any kind is often caused by kidney disorder, which means that the kidneys are not working properly. Poisonous matter and uric acid accumulate within the body in great abundance, over-working the sick kidneys, hence the congestion of blood causes backache in the same manner as a similar congestion in the head causes headache. You become nervous,' despondent, sick, feverish, irritable, have spots appearing before the eyes, bags under the lids, and lack ambition to do things. The latest and most effective means of overcoming this trouble, is to eat sparingly of meat, drink plenty of water between meals and take a single Anuric tablet before each meal for a while. . Simply; ask your, favorite druggist for Anuric if you aren't feeling up to the standard. If you have lumbago, lheumatism, dropsy, begin immediately this treatment with Anuric. Most scientists and medical men believe that because of an over abundance of uric acid in the system, uratic salts are deposited in the tissues and cause rheumatism and gout. The physicians and specialists at Dr. Pierce's In stitutipn in Buffalo, N. Y., have thoroughly tested Anuric and have been with one accord successful in eradicating and throwing off from the system the uric acid which accumulates and poisons. Patients having once used Anuric at the institution have repeatedly sent back for more. Such a demand has been created that Doctor Pierbe decided to put Anuric in the drug stores of this country, in a Ready-to-use form. It will be their own fault if those suffering from uric acid troubles do not take advantage of this wonderful remedy. Adv.

True Secret of Keeping -Youthful Looking
(The Beauty Seeker.) "The real secret of keeping young-looking and beautiful," aava a well-known hygienist, "is to keep the liver and bowels normally active. Without these requisites, poisonous waste products remain in the system, polluting the blood and lodging in various organs, tissues, joints. One becomes flabby, obese, nervous, mentally sluggish, dull-eyed, wrinkled and callow of face. "But to get liver and bowels working as they ought, without producing evil after -effects has been the problem. Fortunately, there i3 a prescription of unquestioned merit, which way now be had in convenient tablet form. Its value is due largely to an ingredient derived from the humble May apple, or its root, which has been called 'vegetabla calomel' because of its effectiveness though, of course, it is not to be classed with the real calomel of mercurial origin. There is no habit-fsjrruing constituent in sentanel tablets that's the name and their use is not followed by weakness or exhaustion. On the contrary, these) harmless vegetable tablets tend to impart tono and elasticity to" the relaxed intestinah wall. Sentanel tablets, which may be procured from any druggist a dime's worth will do will prove s revelation to any constipated, livertroubled person."
