PELTS BRING $3,000

CAMBRIDGE CITY, lnd., Jan. 31. Fred Storch went to Indianapolis Monday, taking with hinii furs, principally pelts of the mink, opposuni, and rat, for which he received $473. Thus far this season, Mr. Storch has disposed of $3,000 of furs, having sold to Indiannpolis and Chicago houses.

CAMPBELL OBTAINS RELEASE FROM COURT

EATON. O.. Jan. 31. Arthur L. Campbell, indicted for abandonment of his family, and arrested a few days as;o In Kansas City. Mo., at the 'instigation of local' authorities, obtained his release. Ex-sheriff Ed B. W'ertz had been deputized and made a trip to Kansas City to return him here for trial.

INDEPENDENT IN THE FIELD B. B. Johnson, ovner of the Independent Ice and Fuel Co., the plant on North Sixteenth street, announces that he will be in the Richmond field the coming season with an output of thirty tons of ice dally, and an efficient force of delivery wagons and delivery men. With an up-to-date plant of this capacity he respectfully, solicits a fair whare of the retail ice business of this city and vicinity, and will as heretofore undertake to give ice consumers good ice, good weight and good service at all times. The Independent Ice and Fuel Co. will continue to occupy the office at number 13 South 9th street, formerly used as the office of Rettig and Johnson. Tbo telephone number there has been changed and will be 1050 on and after February first The new number cannot be given in the telephone directory until April first, when the new directory comes out.
