REV. ADAMS REFERS TO WORK OF JURY CLEANING UP CITY
"The Clean-Up of Richmond by the Grand Jury," will be a cub-topic discussed by Rev. Thomas H. Adams at the Central Christian church tomorrow morning. At the same time he will optn a series of sermons for the Simultaneous Evangelistic campaign. The Rev. Mr. Adams will discuss briefly the work of the jury and the general effect it Is having on the city. It was suggested to him that the grand jury is working towards the same end that the Church Federation Is hoping eventually to accomplish, namely, betterment of moral conditions. The Rev. Mr. Adams declined today to discuss the manner in which he would handle tho sub-topic of his sermon but said that he would deal with facts and at the same time keep within the bounds of the ethics of his profession. The nature of the sermon and the opportune time is expected to draw a large crowd to the church tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow
You will not have to work Sunday; your time will be your own. What are you going to do with it ? For six days you have worked in the shop, office or store. evenings you have had your choice of the variety of amusements and social activities which the city affords you. Tomorrow you want to do something different ; something eminently worth while.
or six
What shall that something be? What will you do? Go to church Sunday. The Lord has set aside Sunday as a day on which you shall rest from your labors; as a day upon which you shall worship him in a public place. If there were no Divine Power and no churches you would be forced to toil continually. But He has given you a day of rest on which to give thanks for your manifold blessings. Since lie has been so generous to you are you going to be stingy with Him? Are you going to use that day for the motion picture shows, for loafing, for a card game when that is the Lord's Day his
gift to you? Are you going to trifle away that time, throw it away, waste it when it never can be recalled when it brings you nearer the end of your days on earth ? No, you are going to join with thousands of devout men and women who will bow before their Creator in the churches tomorrow and thank Him for health, happiness and home comforts while their unfortunate fellow beings are starving at home and dying a death of agony on the blood-soaked, frozen battlefields of Europe. Haven't you cause to give thanks ? Of course you have and you intend to let the world know that you have by going to church Sunday.
