i. DRINK HOT TEA - FOR A BAD COLD j Get a small package of Hamburg

Breast Tea, or, as the German folks j call it, -Hamburger Brust Thee," at ; any pharmacy. Take a tablespoonful I of the tea, put a cup of boiling water ; upon it, pour . through a sieve and drink a teacup full at any time. It i3 j the most effective way to break a '. cold and cure grip, as it opens the I pores, relieving congestion. Also loosens the bowels, thus breaking a j cold at once. j

It is inexpensive and entirely vegetable, therefore harmless.

WHEN YOU BUY THE BRASCOLITE you're buying better illumination not just fixtures. The fixture designs are there beauty, variety and adaptability to all tastes and decorative schemes ; but primarily the Brascolite is designed to answer your real object in putting in a lighting system the dissemination of maximum illumination with a minimum consumption of current. And the light itself is right broadly diffused, soft and white. As closely as the phonograph reproduces the human voice the Brascolite simulates the light of day.

Best Suited to Eye HsrJth and CoHifort- Because - the design is scientifically correct. Th glass bowl ?oftpns and diffuses the lamp rays and disposes of glare. The flit, dpolishod reflector dispenses the lamp ray which are reflected upAvard from the bowl and softens and d;flecta tlieia to the b oad arta to be illuminated Maximum Illumination for Minimum Current Consumption

Because there's practically no waste. There is a minimum araount of lamp ray absorbed by eu.hr bowl or reflector practically all rays produce illumination in the right place. Also as the Brascolite carries its own ceiling (the flat, depolit hod reflecting plane) it is independent of the height, finish,

smoothness and color of the natural ceiling- and w?)lls of the room to be lighted Other systems must depend upon ther;e factors for furnishing their reflecting planes. This all means that to. light a given area fewsr units (or lamps) are required. Fewer lamps mean lessened current, consumption. Therefore,

Wc Guarantee You Better Illumination and Grealer Economy in Current and Maintenance

! ft :

Another point in economy Brascolite is adapted to the use of gasfilli'd. high candle power lamps of low watt consumption. Watts measure current that's what you pay for. A. k your local dealer to demonstrate Itrascolite efficiency to you. Make sure of getting the genuine.

Do not be deceived by fixtures designed to look, at a glance, like Brascolites. Being unable to duplicate the Brascolite constructive principle, they've tried to imitate its appearance but none can duplicate . its efficiency. Look for the name stamped on edge of bowl and inner surface of the fixture.

Write us for portfolio containing photographic reproductions of many kinds of installations explains the Brascolite principle and illustrates the infinite variety of designs.

for Winter Driving

The motor car has become such an essential part of life that seasonal changes no longer operate as hindrances. Motoring, at all times healthful, is particularly invigorating in the cool and cold seasons, and due to the fact that so many take advantage of the motor car's benefits, Americans are becoming each year a hardier race. That "softness" of which we hear so much is a fiction, and the motor car has made it so.

The Buick touring car is an "all-year" car to its fortunate owners. Equipped with the most dependable of electric starting systems, and immune from those mechanical difficulties which mean delay and trouble for owners of less reliable cars, the Buick, like Tennyson's brook, keeps right on going, regardless of weather conditions overhead or road conditions underfoot.

Buick power is best appreciated in the wintertime, when the dirt roads are badly cut up and the paved roads are often piled deep with snow. It is in these circumstances that the matchless Valve-in-Head motor with which all Buicks are equipped shows itself to greatest advantage. It is then that motorists learn the truth of our repeated assertion that the greatest thing about the Buick is the Buick Valve-in-Head motor. Call for demonstration.
