3 PERSONS INJURED IN AUTO COLLISION; MACHINE HITS POLE Miss Elmira Kempton, South Seventeenth and. A streets, and her brothers, Russell and Whitney, were injured last evening in an automobile accident at South Thirtenth and A streets. At the time of the accident, they were on their way to Reid Memorial hospital to visit their father, John L. Kempton, who has been operated on. Miss Kempton's forehead was cut badly and her arms were cut and bruised. She was most seriously hurt of the three, and was uncon scious for some time. She was thrown against the top of the machine when it struck the curb and a light pole. Since South A street was paved with brick, many accidents have occurred at street intersections. It was the fourth in six months at Thirteenth and A streets. Whitney Kempton, driving, turned too quickly into Thirteenth street to avoid hitting a delivery truck. He was driving an automobile which turned over two months ago when loaded with high school pupils returning from a school athletic contest. !- CAMBRIDGE CITY Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Allen have moved from the Walter Waddell prooerty to the Charles Bertsch property on Front street Lillian, the young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Teague, has been quite ill with the measles Dr. Charles KneiseandDr R. To stop falling hair at once and rid the scalp of every particle of dandruff, get a 25-cent bottle of Danderine at any drug store, pour a little in your hand and rub well into the scalp. After a few applications all dandruff disappears and the hair stops coming out. Adv. Even Cross, Sick Children Love Syrup of Figs If Feverish, Bilious, Constipated, Give Fruit Laxative at Once. Don't scold your fretful, peevish child. See if tongue is coated; this is a sure sign its little stomach, liver and bowels are clogged with sour waste. When listness, pale, feverish, full of cold, breath bad, throat sore, doesn't eat, sleep or act naturally, has stomachache, indigestion, diarrhoea, give a teaspoonful of "California Syrup of Figs," and in a few hours all the foul t waste, the sour bile and fermenting food passes out of the bowels and you have a well and playful child again. Children love this harmless "fruit laxative,'" and mothers can rest easy after giving it, because it never fails to make their little "insides" clean and sweet." Keep it handy, Mother! A little given today saves a sick child tomorrow, but get the genuine. Ask your druggist for a 50-cent bottle of "California Syrup of Figs," which has directions for babies, children of all ages and for grown-ups plainly on the bottle. .Remember there are counterfeits sold here, so surely look and see that yours is made by the "California Fig Syrup Company." Hand back with contempt any other fig syrup. Adv.

MISS KERSEY IS DEAD Word has been" received here today of the death of Miss Florence Kersey, formerly of Centerville, at the home of Mrs. LeRoy Hilton at Reno, Nev., after-a brief illness. Interment was at Lindsay, Cal., beside the grave of her mother who died three years ago. Miss Kersey leaves one sister, Mrs. Dora Dietrich of Sauger, Cal. EVERYBODY NEEDS PURE, RIH BLOOD Pure blood enables the stomach, iiver and other digestive organs to do their work properly. Without it they are sluggish, there is loss of appetite, j sometimes faintness, a deranged state of the intestines, and, in general, all the symptoms of dyspepsia. Pure blood is required by every organ of the body for the proper performance of its functions. Hood's Sarsaparilla makes pure blood, and this is why it is so successful in the treatment of so many diseases and ailments. It acts directly on the blood, ridding it of scrofulous and other humors. It is a peculiar combination of blood-purifying, nervetoning, strength- giving substances. Get it today. Adv. Drink Hot Water! Have Rosy Cheeks and a Peachy Skin Says we will both look and feel clean, sweet and fresh and avoid illness. To see the tinge of healthy . bloom in your face, to see your skin get clearer and clearer, to wake up without a headache, backache, coated tongue or a nasty breath, in fact to feel your best, day in and day out, just try inside-bathing every morning for one week. . Before breakfast each day, drink a glas sof real hot water with a teaspoonful of limestone phosphate in it as a harmless means of washing from the stomach, liver, kidneys and bowels the previous day's indigestible waste, sour bile and toxins: thus cleansing, sweetening and purifying the entire alimentary canal liefore putting more food into the stomach. The action of hot water and limestone phosphate on an empty stomach is wonderfully invigorating. It cleans out all the sour fermentations, gases and acidity and gives one a splendid appetite for breakfast. A quarter pound of limestane phosphote will cost very little at the drug store but is sufficient to demonstrate that just as soap and hot water! cleanses, sweetens and freshens the skin, so hot water and limestane phosphate act on the blood and internal organs. Those who are subject to con-; stipation, bilious attacks, acid stomach, rheumatic twinges, also those whose skin is sallow and complexion pallid, are assured that one week of insidebathing will have them both looking and feeling better in every way.
