Tonight at Muncle the Indianapolis and Muncle team ingredients of the second division of the I. S. L. battle it rut In a game that will have but little bearin? on the standing of the league leaders. Muncie's beating at the hands of New Castle last night went a good ways toward making the divisional line of the first and second divisions mere pronounced. A defeat at the hands of Indianapolis tonight will further eliminate Muncie's chances of ever overhauling its rivals Richmond and New Castle. NEW CASTLE, 1; MUNCIE, 0. NETV CASTLE, Ind.. Jan. 9. the Netting The house will be filled when Richmond plays there Thursday. Arthur Campbell, manager of the Muncie team, is sprouting wrinkles. The Muncle showing is worrying him. In an endeavor to build up the team, Campbell will attempt to lineup a couple of new men. Red Williams, a brother of Arthur Williams, may be imported. Indianapolis too entertains hope of securing a new defensive man. Ted Lewis at present is in communication with several Eastern players and expects to spring a new man on the I. S L. fans in the near future. At this early date plans for the I. S L. next year are in the making. The circuit will be enlarged to at least six and possibly eight clubs. Elwnod, Anderson, Kokomo and Connersville have been mentioned as new members of the leasue. Elwood and Anderson 4re the likely bets.
