RUSH TO BUY MARKS DIG EXPORT TRADE CHICAGO, Jan. 8. Prospects of con tinued heavy exports and of diminish ing stock in the United States led to day to a general rush to buy wheat Apparently a majority of dealers -bettered that the outlook was for a continuance of the war, and that the need of supplies In Great Britain and other EuroDean countries was increasing. In this connection, bulls put emphasis on reports of the larger number of yessels available now to move grain. Opening prices, which ranged from to 2c higher, with May at $1.85 to $1.86, were followed by a moderate reaction and then a fresh upturn. Corn ascended with wheat, and soon crossed above S1.00 a bushel. Notwith standing the exceptionally high prices, country offerings were reported to be light After opening unchanged to c up, the market sagged a little, but later scored gains all around. Oats followed the advance of other cereals. There seemed to be no pressure to sell. Higher quotations on hogs lifted provisions. Commission houses headed the buying. GRAIN Chicago Futures WHEAT Open. This will cost very little but is sufficient to remove every hard or soft corn from one's feet A few drops of this new ether compound applied directly upon a tender, aching corn should relieve the soreness instantly, and soon the entire corn, root and all, dries up and can be lifted out with the fingers. This new way to rid one's feet of corns was Introduced by a Cincinnati man, who says that, while freezone is sticky, it dries in a moment, and simply shrivels up the corn without inflaming or even irritating the surrounding tissue or skln.:. Don't let father die of infection or lockjaw from whittling at his corns, but clip this out and make him try It. Adv.
