Tuesday New Castle at Muncie. Wednesday Muncie at Richmond. Thursday Muncie at New Castle. Friday Indians at Muncie. Saturday Indians at Richmond. Muncie, 10; Richmond, 2 Catching the merry Yule-tide spirit, the Muncie polo team, in its setto with the Quakers at Muncie last night, pre6ented the Richmond five with the most terrific beating that hasever been handed any team of any Western polo belt. Exponents of the "It's better to give than to receive" polick, the help of Frederick Pence unwrapped everything in its repertoire and altered it to the luckless Quakers. Jimmy O'Metz especially received lots of attention. In the first place, the Quakers were In no position to play polo last night. Walt Evans, Ftar center, suffering from a combination of a bum knee and a bad cold, was out of it. Sox Qulgley, captain, was more or less indisposed the result of the grippe. Harry O'Metz was suffering from eyestrain. De mobilized, as it were, the Richmond machine managed to stay on the track during the first round. But in the second chapter the Quaker boat began to act up. And in the thirdIt was nothing more than a sociable Kkatlng party for the Muncie five.' It wasn't Washington Irving or Aristotle who authored the old saw j.bout "Kpcii can no has his day," but Whoever it was who spilled thore words probably knew what he was talking fcbout. Take Harry O'Metz, for instance. He had li3 day last nicht. It was some day, too, last night. Hut at any rate, New Castle benefited and the pleasure of dragging that learn out of the-uppr berth tonight will more than pay for the temporary displeasure of lamping the Richmond

There's adjectives and adjectives but none of 'em can do credit to that affair at Muncie last night. The word 'awful' can't touch it. No doubt it tickled the Henry county folk hugely. No doubt it pleased the Muncie fans, too. There is little chance of Walt Evans getting back into the Quaker lineup tonight. , Arlie May would v have enjoyed O'Metz's performance at Muncie last night. The Richmond goal tend shattered May's best records for rank work. All of which bears out the assertion 'That when they're good, they're good, but when they're bad they're worse, t. One of the "Kid's" scores was registered in six seconds.

Kid Williams reaped a fat harvest of goals.' His six total helped in the individual record. Even half back Huston came in for one marker. LouJuigley again fell down in the rush line. Williams crossed the equator first in eight of fifteen starts. The shift of Fry up to rush and O. Quigley to center didn't seem to help a whole lot. ' " ". With the lead at stake and their team going good, New Castle will bring over a small caravan of noise tonight." ' "

Better come early and avoid the rush. v '.-
