WRITES ABOUT KITTEN
I am a little, white kitten, my eyes are green. I caught a mouse in the corn crib yesterday and it tasted mighty good. L When I am hungry, I say Meow, Meow and a little girl named Martha brings me a big saucer of milk. Sometimes the big, black dog barks at me but I am not afraid of him. There is a little baby lives there and she comes out of doors and puts doll clothes on me and I do not like that, and I run away. The people that take care of me are good to me. I sleep on the porch at night. ; Velma May Grade 3, Economy

WARNER PLAYGROUND Dear Aunt Molly, The boys and girls of Warner school want a play ground. Be
cause the play ground, at school i3
so small to play ball on. Most of Ihey children live in flats and have know yards. The children, have to
play in streets, and are maybe to
get hurt by wagons and automobiles, j
We can not have ball played on our j
school grounds. Because it intervers with other games, and sometimes the small children get hurt with ball or bat. So you see;why we want a playground. Well yon try and help us get one. Yours very truly DOROTHY HART, " ' 6 B Grade Warner School. ,
