THAT GEIUENlilAL DUG FROM GRAVE FOR NEW AUTOPSY

Richmond's newly organized Citizenship committee of the Federation of Churches issued its first official report today. It was condemnation of the policies pursued In the recent Centennial celebration. Here it is: We, your committee, beg leave to submit the following with reference to the recent Centennial celebration. We glory in the splendid, progress that the great state of Indiana has made during the first hundred years of Its history, and hope that the next hundred years will witness a history more glorious than this has been and while we commend the spirit that prompted the celebration, and the splendid commercial and industrial exhibits, we must deplore certain element that entered into the celebration. Gambling Is Censured. The gambling connected with it, so open and flagrant, stamped it as a mercenary enterprise, and lowered our ciric standard, and reproached our fair city. It is exceedingly unfortunate that such a worthy undertaking has had attached to It such odium, and it is our hope that the city will not be called upon again to face a similar reproach. The closing of one of the principal streets, impeding traffic and that along the position occupied by several of our leading churches, disturbing the work of the churches and especially on the Sabbaths, by continuing work, in violation of a promise to omit work on those days. Besides it made possible great property loss in case of fire. It seems to those directly concerned that if the closing a street for such purposes is a good thing it should at least be passed around and this i3 most heartily urged. Respectfully submitted, (Signed) HARRY C. HARMAN, THOS. H. ADAMS. ELLIS M. LEARNER, E. E. DAVIS, Committee.

Bundy's pictures, will :. become infested with artists. ;, ' J. E. Bundy has leased the Niewoehner farm and is arranging to lease adJoining land. He will have about 200 acres of broken - and picturesque ground for material. A bungalow costing about $1,500 is under construction for a studio.
