; NEW PARIS, Ohio, Dec 11. A day marked by bite red letters by the members of the New Paris I. O. O. The Covington team was composed of twenty-eight men who carried all the paraphernalia with them necessary to perform the work and It was noted that two portions of the outfit required the services of four men :to lift It. As for the work, It was the finest and most Impressive ever witnessed In this section and the New Tarls lodge Is deeply grateful to their visiting team. , George W. Miller, a former New Paris resident, was one of the members of the Covington delegation, a Jarge number accompanying the team. Their enthusiasm was undaunted In spite of their forty mile drive In autojnobllesthrough mud and on bad roads. West Manchester lodge was represented by twelve members, and there were delegations from Eaton, Dayton, Richmond. Greenville and other points. ? One candidate was Initiated and four petitions for entrance were read which shows that the local I. O. O. F. Is enjoying a revival, the present membership being unusually large for a email town. At the conclusion of the work an appetizing , and substantial luncheon of home-cooked ' ham sandwiches, coffee, pickles, Ice cream and cake was generously served by the committee in charge. A social smoker followed and a most enjoyable evening was spent by hosts and guests alike, the visitors pronouncing New Paris lodge second to none as entertainers.
