LIKE CLOCK WORK!
(By N. B. Cook. M. D.) The machinery of the body needs to be oiled, kept In good condition lust as the automobile or bicycle. Why should the human neglect his own machinery more thnn that of his horse or his engine? Yet most people do neglect themselves. Their tongue has a dark brown color, skin sallow, breath bad, yet they fall to see that their machinery needs attention. Everybody should take a mild laxltlve at least once a week. A pleasant way to clear the tongue and the highly x colored water noticed in the morning is to take a laxative which will cure the Inactive liver and biliousness. A pleasant vegetable pill is made up of May-apple, leaves of aloes, and jalap, made into a tiny pellet and coated with sugar. First put up by Dr. Pierce nearly 50 years ago. Druggists sell these vegetable pellets In vials, simply ask for Dr. Pierce's Pleasant Pellets. If backache, scalding urine or frequent urination bother or distress you, or If uric acid in the blood has caused rheumatism, gout or sciatica, if you suspect that you have kidney or bladder trouble, write Dr. Pierce, at Invalids' Hotel, Buffalo, N. Y., send a sample of urine, and describe symptoms. A physician and chemist will examine it without charge and you will be under no obligation whatever. Dr. Pierce's Anuric tablets cannot fail to help you, because their action flushes the kidneys of impurities and puts strength into them. Obtain a 50-cent box of these tablets 1oday from your druggist here in town. From personal observation In large hospital practice, Anuric will give you Kpecdy relief. Adv.

Woodman, pastor,, has made the following statement: The building contractor is nearly through with his work, the steam fitting and plumbing are being put in, and this week the settees and pulpit furniture will be set up. The general contract work has been done by Harry Pinnlck; Charles Johanning has had charge of the steam fitting and plumbing; and Louck & Hill company is making the furniture. The building when completed will be one of the best in this vicinity, and splendidly adapted to the needs of this growing meeting. Outgrows Present Home The West Richmond Friends Meeting has actually outgrown its present quarters in the old Harrison homestead. Its Bible school and meetings for worship have grown to such an e'xtent that the present auditorium affords very inadequate accommodations for those who wish to attend the

DRINK HOT TEA FOR A BAD COLD
Get a mall package of Hamburg Breast Tea, or as the German folks call it, "Hamburger Brust Thee," at any pharmacy. Take a tablespoonful of the tea, put a cup of boiling water upon it, pour through a sieve and drink a teacup full at any time. It is the most effective way to break up a cold and cure grip, as it opens the pores, relieving congestion. Also loosens the bowels, thus breaking a cold at once. It is Inexpensive and entirely vegetable, therefore harmless.

From the Masters of the Art of Piano Making Comes the Starr Piano and Player Piano
A Starr Piano or Player Piano is the Ideal Gift
For Your Children
- : - - - - . ... , 1( t !
The First Conception of Music is Often the Final Conception What kind of musical instrument have you provided for your child? Is she forced to devote hours to the dreary monotony of practice on the piano in hopes that some day she may be able to play the simple pieces of popular favor or is she broadening her knowledge of real music by practicing the personal interpretation of good music on the playerpiano? . Many a child takes up the study of music and after practicing the finger exercise for some time without result, loses interest in her work and finally gives it up entirely; few continue the anything but pleasant practice by which they may be able to play SOME of the classical pieces. Quite the reverse is the case, however, if you place a Starr Playerpiano at your child's command. With but a little practice she will learn to know and appreciate all that is best in music. By means of this instrument she will be able to play with absolute control of tempo, touch and expression the masterpieces of Wagner, the beautiful symphonies of Beethoven, or any of the popular music in which she chances to delight. Within a very short time she will become the equal of the artist whose technique and correct Interpretation represents a lifetime of labor. We extend you an invitation to come in and hear this player in order that you may see how simple and effective It is. . Ask Us About our Special Easy Terms
