The board of directors of the Woman's Franchise League of Indiana at the monthly meeting yesterday in Indianapolis, voted to withdraw from the Indiana Federation of clubs and devote the entire effort and finances of the state organization to the work for which the society was organized, that is to obtain full suffrage or women in Indiana either by state or federal law. While the league as a state organization, will withdraw from the Indiana Federation, the Individual leagues throughout the state will be urged to affiliate with the Federation and assist in all its activities. The report of the legislative committee which will ask for full suffrage by constitutional amendment at the next Legislature was accepted. Reports from the various chairmen were read. Miss Esther Griffin White, sixth district chairman, reported a new branch league among the girls in Earlham College. Mis3 Esther Griffin White was among the out of town guests at the meeting. A pretty social affair for Monday was the banquet Riven last evening at Grace M. E. church by the members of the Victorian Bible class in honor of Dr. Bovard, state president of the Adult Bible schools and also for members of the church. The tables were arranged In the form of a cross. A large, star lighted with electricity festooned with smilax and polnsetta flowers was placed above the tables. Underneath the star and in the center of the cross were baskets filled with polnsetta flowers. This was surrounded by twelve large candles. At each cover were grouped three candles and a basket of Christmas flowers. A delicious menu was served. Mrs. Grace Gormon's class of girls assisted In the serving and are to be congratulated upon the success of the affair. Forty-five couples attended the skating party given last evening at the Coliseum. Among the skaters were

Christ Episcopal church was the scene of a pretty wedding service at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon in Indianapolis, the bride being Miss Dorothy T. Ladley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
George W. Ladley arid the bridegroom, Albert J. Qulgley. Only the relatives and a few friends were present for the ceremony, which was pronounced by the Rev. James D. Stanley. Miss Ladley chose for her only attendant j Mary Louise Qulgley, sister of
the bridegroom and John Jay Nolan was the best man. ' Mr. Clarence Carson organist played the wedding march. The bride wore a traveling suit of dark bine velour and black panne velvet hat trimmed with silver and black maline. Her flowers were a corsage boquet of valley lilies and roses. relatives in this city. v The Tuesday afternoon card club did not meet this afternoon with Mrs. Will Hawekotte. The meeting has been
postponed indefinitely. f The Biblical study was continued Monday afternoon when the Ticknor club met with Mrs. D. L. Mather at her home, North Twelfth street. Current events were not given. Next Monday afternoon Mrs. John B. Dougan entertains the club and guest day will be observed. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lincoln and daughter Miss Martha, have returned to New Castle after spending the weekend with Mr. Lincoln's mother. Mrs. Minnie Griffis has returnd from Chicago where she spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Griffis. Mr. and Mrs. Griffis will spend Christmas here. Miss Miriam Krone has returned from New Castle where she visited with friends during Thanksgiving week. A full attendance is desired Wednesday afternoon when the Penny club meets with Mrs. Clara Thomas, North Eighth street, as arrangements will be made for Christmas dinner to be given December 29, to the unfortunate children of this city.

and Mrs. Finley Newlln, East Main street . . Miss Miriam Morgan has returned from Dayton, Ohio, where she attended an elaborate banquet and ball given by members of the Elk club. Sunday she was joined by Miss Ruth Edgerton. While in Dayton Miss Morgan was the guest of her uncle. Many persons in this city are Interested in the marriage of Mr. Ralph. C. Edgerton, at one time a resident of Fountain City and Miss Ethel Branch which was solemnized Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents in Indianapolis. The Rev. W. A. Frye of the St Paul M. E. church officiated. Many pink and white chrysanthemums and the pink and white roses were used. Miss Hannah Branch sister of the bride played the wedding march. The bride wore a blue traveling suit trimmed In moleskin and white panne velvet hat. Miss Luucretia Branch was maid of honor and wore a blue tailored suit with white hat. Mr. and Mrs. Edgerton will reside in the Meridian apartments after January 1. The Missionary circle of the First Baptist church will meet Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Henry Collings, 63 South Seventeenth street at 2:30 o'clock. . i .. - The Penny supper which was to have been given Wednesday evening at the Second English Lutheran church, has been postponed until Friday evening, December 15. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ratcllff, of New Castle, entertained with a 6 o'clock dinner Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. John A. Ratliff and daughter, Betty, of this city were among the out of town guests.
