IITI-SAL00II MEN SEND OUT LETTERS

REQUEST SUPPORT

Indiana Anti-Saloon league letters rlgned by E. S. Shumaker. state super Intendent, are being received here with a request that petitions for presentation to the next legislature be made as formidable as possible. Petition blanks to the house and the senate are enclosed. "Let us have a mighty drive for prohibition." the letter says. "We are depending upon you. You must not fail us. See that these petitions are carried early and late, everywhere, to all classes. Do not stop until the last voter and the last woman possible in your county has been seen and has signed these petitions. The more there are, the more certain will victory result. Also see your legislators in person. Urge them to support Statewide. If all will be at it from now until March 4, Indiana will celebrato the greatest moral victory In her history.

DOCTOR SAVES A BLACKSMITH

Some time ago I wns taken with Kidney trouble which caused me to give up my work as blacksmith. I lost my appetite and could not sleep, from the deadful pains that would come over me, from my kidneys. I was treated by a physician for about three months. He could not help me 60 finally he prescribed Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root. I started taking same and before I had finished taking the first bottle I began to eat and sleep better than I had in a long time. -I continued to take same until I was entirely cured and took on considerable weight. I am now back working at my trade again and never felt better in my life. I appreciate what Swamp-Root has done for men and will recommend It to anyone who suffers with their kidneys. When physicians fail to give relief and" then prescribe Swamp-Root, they sure know of Its merits. I am, Very truly yours. S. A. HALE. Henrietta, N.Y, State of New York, County of Monroe, ss: S. A. Hale, of Henrietta. N. Y., being duly sworn deposes and says that he is the person who , wrote the foregoing testimonial letter to Dr. Kilmer & Co., and knows the facts stated therein to be true. ! AMUSEMENTS AT LOCAL HOUSES

"Interesting' bill maintained the record of a long run of high-class vaudeville when ; the first-half show opened at the Murray : theater last night. Intense drama was presented by Evans Lloyd and Company, which ended happily .when a mother found it was only a dream that her son had joined a "gang" and had participated in a robbery in which it was necessary for him to shoot her brother, a policeman. "The. Dip pyists," which followed, proved to be "dippy" enough to keep the audience laughing until they left the stage. The headline bill, Electrical Venus, revealed some interesting experiments with high voltage electricity. "The Versatile Trio,' mix dancing and tumbling to adantage and Powder and CapmanK which 13 not a war act, entertained to the satisfaction of the audience.
