T. P. A. NOTES

KIDNEY DISORDER (Dy Dr. L. C. Babcock.) Simple methods are usally the the most effective - ones when treating my disorder of the human system. The mere drinking a cup of hot water each morning, plenty of pure water all day, and a little Anuric before every meal has been found the most effective means of overcoming kidney trouble. Death would occur if the kidneys did not work day and night in separating poisons and uric acid from the blood. The danger signals are backache, depressions, aches, pains, heaviness, drowsiness, ... irritability, headaches, chilliness, rheumatic twinges, swollen joints, gout. It is such a simple matter to step into your favorite drug store and obtain Anuric, which was first discovered by Dr. Pierce, of the Surgical Institute, Buffalo, N. Y. Every druggist dispenses it. All people in America and especially those who are past middle age are prrne to eat too much meat and in consequence deposit uric acid (uratic salts) in their tissues and joints. They often suffer from twinges of rheumatism or Bometimesetaoietaoi etaoiaoii tism or lumbago, sometimes from gout, swollen hands or feet. Such people are not always able to exercise sufficiently in the outdoor air in order to sweat freely and excrete impurities thru the skin. Anuric will overcome such conditions as rheumatism, dropsical swellings, cold extremities, scalding and burning urine and sleeplessness due to constant need of getting out of bed at night, by carrying off the uric acid poison. Several suggestions for the all-time health officer bill as made recently to the state board of health, by the Commercial club public health committee will be incorporated in a new draft of the bill, according to a letter from Dr. J. N. Hurty, which was read at the committee meeting last night. The letter presented new matter for discussion. Part of Dr. Hurty's letter follows: "The idea is to organize the health service of the state after a military fashion, the center of the health service to be in the state board of hlHi

the county health commissioners being colonels and the city health commissioners captains. If a city of 20,000 elects to have its own health department and appoint its own health offio er, then the county health commissioner would be given a minimum salary of say $1,500 to $1,800 a year for looking after the health outside of the city and giving his advice and help to the city, at times. ' "Concerning the establishment of a dispensary, (suggested by the Commercial club for incorporation in the bill), dispensaries refer entirely to cure and relief and should not be connected with boards of health which have to do only with the prevention of disease."
