Suppose Fatimas were NOT Sensible It isn't possible to fool men for long. Lincoln said that better than we could. GJ Surely, if Fatimas were not as comfortable to the throat and tongue as we say they are if they did not leave a man feeling keen and "fit" after a long-smoking day do you suppose that more Fatimas would be sold every day than any other high-grade cigarette? GJ Remember these facts as you try Fatimas and observe how comfortable, how sensible they really are.

DEFEATED QUAKERS ENTER FINAL LAP
. Victim of another bard luck affair at SprlngHeld (O.) yesterday, Coach Whiteside's clan of Earlham gridders returned to the city today satisfied that the 14-7 win of the Wittenberg eleven was "paid in full" by the Lutherans. With a day of rest the Quakers tomorrow again will be set into motion in preparation for the final game of the season the Wilmington contest on Reid Field Saturday afternoon. The team is in fair physical condition. DONATION MAY MAKE DINNER POSSIBILITY There is still a good chance that the Penny club's annual dinner to children under 15 years of age will be given this Christmas. After hope had been practically abandoned, a business man called one of the club officers and offered to contribute ten chickens. The club has now decided that if the chickens are donated, the remainder of the dinner can be paid for from the club treasury. It is estimated the chickens, at last year's price of 24 cents a pound, would cost almost $80. Last year 78 chickens were purchased dressed, weighing 275 pounds. There is never any previous estimate of the number of children who will attend, officers of the club say. The number last year was almost a hundred lees than the year before, although both years attendance was considerably more than any other years. The number in 1915 was 290 and in 1914, 387, none over 14 years old. ' SPEAKS ON PROHIBITION EATON, O., Nov. 21. In the interest of nation-wide prohibition, Wayne B. HERE'S DELICIOUS TURKEY DINNER THAT WILL COST WIFE ONLY $4
Housewives who must turn short corners on the expense account for this year's Thanksgiving dinner, can give just as much food and as many dainty dishes as ever If they will practice economy in the right way, according to L. E. Rauchman, steward at the Westcott hotel. Mr. Rauchman said a meal for six persons can be cooked and served at a cost of $3.90 to $4 In addition to the use of ordinary supplies which housewives have on hands. There is a way to arrange meals, he said, with a little forethought to the utilization of what might become scraps otherwise, for instance, having Waldorf salad when celery hearts are served. After the hearts are removed, the remainder of the celery can be used for the salad. Here are two savory meals which he suggests can be prepared for six persons for about $4: Oyster Cocktail Celery Hearts Queen Olives Roast Young Turkey, Chestnut Dressing, Cranberry Sauce Candiad Yams Peas In Cream Waldorf Salad New England Plum Pudding Brandy Sauce Coffee. Cream of Tomato Celery Hearts Gherkins Roast Young Turkey, Cranberry Sauce Mashed Potatoes Asparagus Tips Head Lettuce - French Dressing AWARD TO TEITSORT MAY BE CUT DOWN Judge Fox of the circuit court is considering a modification of the $15,000 award of the jury in the case of Clarence Teitsort vs. the Pennsylvania railroad, it was learned today. Under the law, Judge Fox has no power to modify the award of a jury. There Is a motion on file, however, for a new trial. The judge can call the plaintiff and inform him that unless he agrees, to settle for a smaller amount than $15,000, a new trial will be granted. More than 36,600,000 barrels of oil were used as fuel locomotives in the United States last year. A FEARLESS PHYSICIAN Such a physician recently remarked "The wonderful power of Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound over diseases of women is not because it is a stimulant, not because it i3 a palliative, but simply because it contains the very elements needed to tone up the female system and strengthen the , depleted organism." Of course that is so, otherwise it would not succeed as it has. Adv. For Rheumatism AND ALL BLOOD TROUBLES AT ALL DRUG STORES
