TRUSTEES CONSIDER LEGISLATION NEEDS
BLUFFTON, Ind,. Nov. 17. Town
ship legislative matters were consider
ed at a conference here of the thirteen trustees of the county, and other conferences will be held before a formal
plan to secure legislation from the
state legislature Is laid out . , The trustees, among other things, favor the assessment of weed-cutting cost against the land along a highway. Instead of paying a, man to cut the weeds along his own farm. They are opposed to a highway commission that abolish the township as the unit' of road maintenance and construction. The trustees believe that the township advisory board should be abolished, since the state board of accounts now carefully audits books. .
