G. 0. P. Winners of Election in County
The Palladium today offera ita reader deduction made from one of the meat careful and painstaking atraw votea ever taken In the political hletory of Wayne county. Theae reaulta, The Palladium believe, ahow the trend of political aentlment In the whole county at the conclusion of the preaent campaign. The ballot were taken at aeventy-flve placea In the county Including the city of Richmond, the email town and rural district. The vote represent the sentiment of farmera, factory worker, business and profeaalonal men. The total number of ballots represents an amount equal to one-fourth of the total vote cast in the county. The results that follow are based on the relation of thia vote to the total vote. Owing to the general Interest taken . In the election, The Palladium believes that It la only fulfilling one of Ite functlbna as newspaper In conducting the atraw vote and In working out on a percentage schedule, baaed on the Richmond and out-county vote, the probable outsome of the election on Tuesday.
Wilson shows a gain of twenty per cent thla year over the vote he received In Wayne county In 1912, according to the atraw vote which was completed yesterday. Hughea la running alight less than 4 per cent less than the combined votea which Rooaevelt and Taft polled In 1912. He le running behind the etate and congressional candidates by between 200 and 600 votea. If the remaining ninety-one countlea ahow the same gains for Wilson that Wayne county's atraw vote shows, the President will, carry Indiana by 40,000. But report from other countlea, however, Indicate that Wilson's gain will be less there than it la In Wayne county, forcing the conclusion that In caae he carries the state it will be by a majority much less than 40,000. Further aupport la given thla conclusion of a reduced majority, If he carries the etate, by the fact that the leaders in both parties are claiming the state.
Watson Runs Strong. The most surprising revelation of ( the straw vote is the, strong showing ' of Watson in Wayne county which in former campaigns knifed and slashed ! him ruthlessly. Based on the returns In The Palladium's straw vote, Watson Is running 900 votes ahead of New and about 800 votes ahead of the national ticket. Both Democratic senatorial nominees are running behind the Democration national ticket, Kern showing
about 400 less than Wilson, and Taggart about 200 less than the head of the ticket. The gubernatorial race shows Goodrich running 200 ahead of the national ticket and Adair about 300 behind Wilson. Comstock is running about 100 ahead of the national ticket and Gray about 200 behind Wilson. Gray is running 600 ahead of the vote he receved in Wayne county in 1912, while Comstock

SALTS IF BACKACHY AND KIDNEYS HURT Stop Eating Meat for a While If Your Bladder Is Troubling You. When you wake up with baclcaai and dull misery In the kidney region it generally means you have been eating too much meat, says a well-known authority. Meat forms uric acid which overworks the kidneys in their effort to filter it from the blood and they become sort of paralyzed and loggy. When your kidneys get sluggish and clog you must relieve them, like you relieve your bowels; removing all the hndv's urinous waste, else you have
headache, sick headache, dizzy spells;
your stomach sours, tongue is coaiea, and when the weather is bad you have rheumatic twinges. The urine is cloudy, full of sediment, channels often get sore, water scalds and you are obliged to seek relief two or three times during the night Either consult a good reliable physician at once or get from your pharmacist about four ounces of Jad Salts; take a tablespoonful in a glass of water before breakfast for a few days and your kidneys will then act fine. This famous salts is made from the acid of grapes and lemon juice, combined with lithia, and has been used for generations to clea and stimulate sluggish kidneys, also to neutralize acids in the urine bo It no longer irritates, thus ending bladder weakness. Jad Salts Is a life saver for regular meat eaters, tl is Inexpensive, cannot Injure and makes a delightful, effervescent llthla-water drink. Adv.

Last night a constant stream of j daughters
people filed through the Peltz home which was almost filled with floral offerings -one of the most profuse and gorgeous displays of its kind ever seen in Richmond. There were a number of children in this throng of mourners, all bearing simple floral tributes. One small group of newsboys gazed with tear-filled eyes into the face of their good friend and sobbed their sorrow. "He was my pal," one little chap whispered. Children of the neighborhood, who so many times had enjoyed auto rides with Joe and his gifts of candies and little toys, cried as their hearts would break when they brought a floral design their fund of dimes and nickles had purchased. "He certainly did me many a favor," remarked a colored man leaving the
house. Several other colored men following him wiped tears from their eyes. Nearly every person residing on the rural mail route Peltz had served several years as carrier were in the crowd of mourners. Sturdy farmers struggled to retain
