' He is both old fashioned and in the minority, according to Earl Gilbert, manager of the dry cleaning department of a widely known tailoring company. It has been within the last few years that dry cleaning and pressing establishments operated with a loss except in winter, he said. "We don't have dull seasons. Pressing and cleaning used to be a luxury. Both are a necessity. Most tailors now contract with their customers to press one, two or three suits of clothes a week," he explained.
