HUGHES TELLS FARMERS ABOUT WILSON NEGLECT
MITCHELL. S. D., Oct. 17. Charles E. Hughes today told 5,000 South Dakota farmers here that the Wilson administration had "woefully neglected" their interests even while it was reckless and extravagant with government funds." The "palace" in which Hughes delivered his speech was made entirely of corn. "The Underwood tariff act has failed. And with its failure has gone the pledges of the administration," asserted Hughes in his attack on the administration.
NULL KEEPS NEUTRAL
ARRESTS MAY FOLLOW
J. O. Edgerton, who by virtue of his office as township trustee is an assistant to the state fire marshal, said today that It seems possible some armrests may follow destruction of the Tross Lambertson house by fire last I week.
With practically all of the belligerent nations of Europe represented in the English class for foreigners, instructors and attaches of the city night school are wondering just what brand of diplomacy Benjamin Null Is administering in his successful attempt to keep . his students from engaging in discussions of political nature. German, Italy and Austro-Hungary are the nations most commonly represented in the class of beginners. That Teuton and Italian in America are Americans is evidenced in the friendliness displayed by natives of the hostile nations.

INCENDIARY ORIGIN OF MIDNIGHT BLAZE SUSPECTED BY CHIEF
" An unoccupied frame cottage on Gilbert avenue, Earlham Heights addition,' just outside the corporation limits, owned by Tross Lambertson, was burned to the ground last night After an investigation Fire Chief Miller expressed the opinion that there might have been an incendiary origin of the blaze although he admitted there was no actual proof. "As the house had been vacant since last week, when a family named Cartwright moved out of it, there -was no fire in the building last night, which leads me to believe , that the blaze did not start accidentally," Chief Miller said. ' An alarm was sent in from the box at West Third and Kinsey streets, but when the fire companies arrived there and discovered the blaze to be some distance outside the corporation limits Chief ? Miller ordered , the companies back to their stations because there

Any kind of fuel is good enough for this Globe It will burn wood too as well as slack and coke or any grade or kind of soft coal. Any stove that can do this will save you money. You don't have to buy expensive coal to get the best results. The Globe Hot Blast will do just as good work with almost anything you feed it. Use only whatever fuel is handiest. THE GLOBE CONSUMES ITS OWN SMOKE AND GASES This principle saves you 40 to 50 of your coal or gives you just that much more heat. The coal burns from the outside to the center, coking the coal ahead of it as it burns. An intense blue flame is constantly going, producing heat that is intense and lasting. Globe Hot Blasts will hold fire for 48 hours easily. They give all the satisfaction and warmth of the best Baseburner or Furnace at a minimum expense.
The "Globe" Is a Handsome Stove
For beautiful lines and handsome appearance the Globe has every other stove placed in the background. Built along plain mission lines, imposing and stately in form, the Globe creates a very favorable impression and is admired by every one. The nickeled parts are of a pure white deep gloss and lasting. Ail nickel parts are quickly and easily removed for storing during the summer months. The "Globe" Creates a Tremendous Heat You do not need as large a stove of this type as you would of any other to warm the same area. You ought to have a Globe Hot Blast in your home this winter. Convince yourself of the truth of what we say. A test will show you that we have understated instead of overstated the facts. GLOBE QUALITY IS SUPREME GLOBE VALUES ARE GREATEST
