Mrs. Harry Roberts of Cincinnati, who has been the guest of her late husband's sister, Miss Sarah Roberts, left Thursday for Richmond, to visit her sister-in-law, Mrs. Emma Roberts Fulghum. She will return to Cincinnati, Saturday.. .The high school will have a paper to be known as "The ReBound." It will be issued the third Monday in each month. The story of Ralph Plakelock, now considered the leading landscape artist cf America, reads like a plot from fiction. Seventeen years ago Blakelock, broken In mind and body was sent to the Ctate Mrapital for the Insane at Middletown, N. Y after his failure to rrclize cnything on the picture he had just painted. A wlfa f.nd family were left penniless. A couple of years ago art ccnrol:;eur3 recognized real genius in Blakelock's work. His pictures sold fcr small fortunes. Last year the National Academy of design elected him to membership in the exclusive organization. It remained fro Mrs. Van Repsalaer Adams, of Orange, N. J. to rescue Blaketeek. Through his son, born just as Blakelock was on the threshold of the asylum, Mrs. Adams became Interested In the artist. She worked for his release, which finally was secured two weeks ago. Mrs. Adams is sure that Blakelock's power of mind is returning and that he will yet paint masterpiece. The artist Is now working in a little studio which has been furnished for him at a private sanitarium in New Jtrsey.

noon for Samuel M. Decker, 36, shot and killed late Tuesday evening by his neighbor, John Goodwin, now held
to answer for the crime. The services were held at the late home, 6 miles south of Eaton. The body was taken to Camden for burial. Formal action, charging Goodwin lth the crime has not been taken by Prosecutor P. A. Saylor, but it is understood he will be arraigned before Justice L. T. Stephen, of this city, when an affidavit is issued- Following this step, steps will be taken toward grand Jury investigation. It is probable the regular October grand jury will be summoned to reconvene.
An English street railway Is experimenting with a car that takes current from an overhead wire and runs on rails as far as they are laid, then completes its journey over ordinary i roadways, using storage batteries for power. .
