EATON, O., Oct. 11. In a fit of anger, reported to have been aroused by long-standing , differences, John Goodwin, about 40, shot and almost Instantly killed Samuel M. Decker, 35, about 5 o'clock Tuesday evening in the

neighborhood of their homes, two miles north of Camden on the Camden and Eaton pike. Both 1 astride horses, the men met midway between their homes. According to Francis Craig, an eye-witness, Goodwin demanded of Decker, "What have you been telling those lies about ; me for?" Decker denied that he had I given circulation to lies, and slipped I down from the horse's back. Goodwin : did likewise, and the men clinched f Goodwin drew a 32-calibre revolver

The Frames Are Built to Last The picture shows that plainly. Nothing "scimpy" about the proportions of this rocker. Every piece in it is cut from massive stock, on massive lines. The pieces are neatly and sturdily put together, too. This is a good example of a design being both good-looking and practical.

Golden Quartered Oak, Well Finished This is real quartered oak the grain is in the wood. And no wood has a more beautiful grain than quartered oak, when the grain is well brought out with a good golden finish. It is the natural beauty of this rocker that will appeal to you. No defects to be hidden with putty or paint. Also rich Birch, Mahogany.

A Word as to the

Upholstering

The sept and back cushions

are deep and soft. You couldn't distinguish the imitation leather covering from genuine leather, so well is it made. It is smooth and tough, and embodies more wearing qualities than a good many genuine leathers. We have kept the wearing quality up, and the price down by using this covering.
