SWISHER RETURNS FROM HIS JOURNEY

CAMPBELLSTOWN, Ohio. Oct. 6 Mrs. Cora Geedlng is at Gratis assisting her parents ' to move from the farm near there into town... .Everett O'Neil, Emora Swisher and Cliff Gard accompanied by their wives, are at Lexington, Ky.t attending the races.. Sam Swisher has returned from his hunting trip and reports a fne time.. Mrs. Nannie Frame, of Richmond, visited her sisters a few days the past week, at this place Mrs. Manta Kelly, of Richmond, is visiting Sam Swisher and wife Mrs. Vangie Aydelotte is visiting Mrs. Ed. Shafer. . . The Y. P. C. A. will meet on Saturday evening of this week with Neber O'Hara, instead of Wednesday evenirs with Harold Brandenburg. . .John Miller and Joe Stover with their families were afternoon callers at Frank Miller's Sunday John O'Hara and family spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Nora Hart and family. .. .Pierce and Bob Houser spent Saturday night and Sunday with their brother, Emora Houser and family near Camden Ed. Ervin and family returned Monday afternoon from a few days' visit with relatives at Hillsborough, Ohio.

PRESIDENT GREETED BY THOUSANDS

OMAHA, Oct. 5. Thousands thronged the streets, in the vicinity of the Union station when the train bearing President Wilson arrived here at 11:40 o'clock. A wave of cheering greeted the president and Mrs. Wilson as they emerged from the station and were whisked up town in an automobile.

CEMETERY SOCIETY WILL MEET FRIDAY

Thomas Smith and family are moving from Walter Common's property into the house recently vacated by Charles Roberts on East Main . . .". Mr. Commons will tear down the house in which the Smiths were living and will erect a modern dwelling in its place. .....Mrs. Frank Nugent writes that 6he is enjoying her visit in Missouri very much and will probably remain

several weeks longer.... Mr. and Mrs. George Kutche will move their housebold goods from Indianapolis, and will occupy the rooms above Mr. Kueche's restaurant The Basketball Team of the High School has succeeded in securing the town hall for -games during the coming winter and basketball will again be among the list of amusements. A basket supper was given Friday; evening in the High School room and a neat little sum realized, which will be used for the team.

William S. Hunt, of Lynn, for fortynine consecutive years has made trips over the White mountains. In this time he has climbed the mountains 139 times. This year he went up Mt. Washington.
