COLLEGE CO-EDS FAVOR HUGHES IN STRAW VOTE If the co-eds at Earlham and Richmond high school were allowed the ballot this year, those institutions in all probability would give Charles Evans Hughes, Republican nominee for president, a substantial majority. The real voters at Earlham and high school the male members of the faculties and student bodies will give neither candidate a decided majority, according to straw votes taken by politically Interested students and faculty members. The outstanding feature of the vote at Earlham and the high school, Is the interest displayed by the co-eds, who are not a bit backward about expressing their preference for office. That Hughes has scored heavily with the "militants" is evidenced in the figures gathered from various co-ed organizations. According to the vtte taken in Bundy Hall, men3 dormitory at Earlham, President Wilson will run a few votes ahead of Hughes. Of the thirtysix students who expressed their preference, nineteen were for Wilson and seventeen for Hughes. Wilson's advantage at Earlham is more than offset by the vote of high school faculty members and attaches. According to the straw vote taken, R. H. S. faculty will give Hughes ten votes to five for Wilson. Goodrich and Adair, candidates for governor, have little advantage in the totals registered by Earlham and high school voters. A new French watch has a single hand, carrying a numeral that designates the hour, which travels across a semi-circular scale bearing the minute marks, then disappears and is suc ceeded by another hand for the next hour. COMB SAGE TEA IN FADED OR GRAY HAIR Look Young! Common Garden Sage and Sulphur Darkens So Naturally Nobody Can Tell. Grandmother kept her hair beautifully darkened, glossy and attractive with a brew of Sage Tea and Sulphur. Whenever her hair took on that dull, faded or streaked appearance, this simple mixture was applied with wonderful effect. By asking at any drug store for "Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur Compound," you will get a large bottle of this old-time recipe, improved by the addition of ether ingredients, all ready to use, for about 50 cents. This simple mixture can be depended upon to restore natural color and beauty to the hair. A well-known downtown druggist 6ays everybody uses Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur Compound now because It darkens so naturally and evenly that nobody can tell it has been appliedit's so easy to use, too. You simply dampen a comb or soft brush and draw it through your hair, taking one strand at a time. By morning the gray hair disappears; after another application or two, it is restored to its natural color and looks glossy, soft and beautiful. This preparation is a delightful toilet requisite. It is not intended for the cure, mitigation or prevention or disease.
