NAUTICAL SKETCH COMES TO MURRAY
"Aboard for Abroad," the nautical skit that Harry Godfrey and Veta Henderson are offering this week, carries a clever plot throughout. The act abounds in genuine humor that might follow Just such an episode as the author portrays. He pictures the predicament of the man who boarded the wrong boat under the impression that he was going abroad, and also paints a humorous word picture of the girl who starts for Coney Island and is persuaded by the chap she meets on deck, that Liverpool is her destination. Complications of a humorous character follow and the act has been vastly strengthened by a couple of song numbers adapted to the time, the place and the situation. The remainder of the bill the first half of this week at the Murray consists of the Carmen Minstrels, a great novelty act with complete cast of seven people. Ross and Stewart, the singers and dancers. The Burtinos in their slack wire act, and Arthur Turrelly completes one of the best bills
of the season.
