Dan Stillera of Ohio, took charge of the local telephone exchange Monday Several lectures and concerts under the direction of the Century Lyceum Bureau of Chicago will be given in the high school auditorium during the coming -winter. The opening number featuring Miss Genevieve Smith, harpist, and Miss Helen Norton, reader, will be given Friday afternoon and evening, September 29. CHRISTIAN CHURCH PREPARES FOR FAIR
MILTON. Ind., Sept. 21. The ladies of the Christian church are preparing for their annual fair and market for Saturday, September 30, to be held at the Boston hall. There will be playlet in the afternoon in connection with the bazaar. Everyone is invited. to contribute to the market and several booths that care to do so. The fair will close on Saturday night with a play entitled, "The Minister's Honeymoon," which is a sequel to "The New Minister," recently given here by the young people of the church. The proceeds of the fair will be applied by the ladies' aid for the benefit of recent improvements on the church... Mr. Henley, station master at the Lake Erie and Western railroad here, received 30 bushels of peaches to sell for the express company. . ..Mrs. W. W. Leverton was at Richmond Wednesday to Visit her sister, Mrs. Alice Wiggins, and other relatives.
