EXPERT TO
Continued From Paga One. and fourteen business houses between West Main street and Richmond avenue also come over the Doran bridge. This proves that the bridge is probably the one most used by residents of West Richmond. Valley Is Too Wide Because of the wide valley at this place, it would be Impossible to erect a temporary structure if the bridge were condemned. Citizens, cognizant of this condition, have asked that some method be devised whereby the Doran bridge situation can be met before the structure Is condemned. Concrete reinforcement of the bridge is favored. The plan of making one large concrete span and of dividing the support into several spans is under consideration. Engineer Returns Home This evening, Mr. Harrington will return to his home in Kansas City, Mo. He will not make his report until he has had two or three days to study the matter over in his office. Mr. Harrington's principal report will be on the type of Main street bridge. His recommendations on the South G street and Doran bridge situations will be merely sub-reports.
The post office records show that there are fourteen business houses and 361 residences south of West Main street. People from all these must come to the east side over the Main street bridge at present. Hold Executive Session Mr. Harrington held a two-hour executive . session with the county commissioners and Engineer Mueller yesterday afternoon. The Main street bridge situation was gone over from the beginning. The commissioners and Mr. Mueller explained carefully why they favored a slanting Main Etreet bridge. It was explained to Mr. Harrington that the C. & 0. railroad company could not be forced to move its tracks without much litigation and that a level bridge would cause considerable property damage. The Kansas City bridge expert was also informed that .a new bridge was needed immediately and that the people wanted a bridge erected within the shortest possible time.

It was during the making of the Lasky picture, "Maria Rosa," under the direction of Cecil B. DeMille, that Geraldine Farrar, the star, first met Lou-Tellegen, whom she married recently. The noted prima donna and the popular star of the romantic stage were both at the Lasky studios at Hollywood, Cal., last summer. LouTellegen two years ago made his American stage debut in "Maria Rosa' and he gave Miss Farrar valuable advice when she appeared in the picture version of the play. , "Maria Rosa" will be seen on Paramount night at the Murrette tonight. Those who have seen the production declare It is the best of the three photoplays which Miss Farrar has made so far for the Lasky company. A .profligate American kidnapped the pretty wife of an Italian sculptor.
She drowned herself rather than submit to her capture. The husband fol
lowed to America, the man who bad blighted his life and there lived a life of vengeance, ultimately being robbed of his prey by sudden death. Plot and gripping Interplot makes "The Glided Spider," to be exhibited at the Washington theatre tonight and tomorrow in Bluebird Photoplays, a feature of uncommon interest. Louise Lovely is the star, and her support Includes Lon Chaney, Lule Warrenton, Gilmore Hammond, Marjorie Ellison, Jay Belasco and Hay ward .Mack, favorites of a million "picture fans."

Don't Use Soap On Your Hair
When you wash your hair, don't use soap. Most soaps and prepared champoos contain too much alkali, which is very injurious, as it dries the scalp and makes the hair brittle. The best thing to use is just plain mulsifled cocoanut oil, for it is pure and entirely greaseless. It's very cheap, and beats 6oap3 or anything else all to pieces. You can get this at any drug store, and a few ounces will last the whole family for months. Simply moisten the hair with water and rub it in, about a teaspoonful is all that is required. It makes an abundance of rich, creamy lather, cleanses thoroughly, and rinses out easily. The hair dries quickly and evenly, and is soft, fresh looking, bright, fluffy, wavy, and easy to
handle. Besides, it loosens and takes out every particle of dust, dirt and dandruff. Adv.

Physician Says Ordinary Nuxated Iron Will Increase Strength of Delicate Folk 200 Per Cent. In Two Weeks' Time In Many Instances. , NEW YORK, N. Y. in a recent discourse Dr. E. Sauer, a well known Specialist who has studied widely both in this country and Europe, said: "If you were to make an actual blood test on all people who are ill you would probably be greatly astonished at the
exceedingly large number who lack iron and who are ill for no other reason than the lack of iron. The moment iron is supplied all their multitude of dangerous symptoms disappear. Without iron the blood at once loses the power to change food into living tissue, and therefore nothing you eat does you any good; you don't get the strength out of it. Your food merely passes through your system like corn through a mill with the rollers so wide apart that the mill can't grind. As a result of this continuous blood and nerve starvation, people become generally weakened, nervous and all run down, and frequently develop all sorts of conditions. One is too thin; another is burdened with un
healthy fat; some are so weak they can hardly walk; some think they have dyspepsia, kidney or liver trouble; some can't sleep at night; others are sleepy and tired all day; some fussy and irritable; some skinny
and bloodless, but all lack physical power and endurance. In such cases it Is worse than foolihness to take stimulating medicines or narcotic drugs, which only whip up your flag' ging vital powers for the moment, maybe at the expense of your life later on. No matter what any one tells you, if you are not strong and well you owe it to yourself to make the following test: See how long you can work or how far you can walk without becoming tired. Next take two five-grain tablets of ordinary nuxated iron three
'times per day after meals for two
weeks. Then test your strength again and see for yourself how much you have gained. I have seen dozens of nervous, run-down people who were ailing all the time double, and even triple their strength and endurance and entirely get rid of their symptoms of dyspepsia, liver and other troubles In from ten to fourteen days' time simply by taking iron in the proper form, and this, after they had in some cases been doctoring for months without obtaining any benefit. You can talk as you please about all the wonders wrought by new remedies, but when you come down to hard facts there is nothing like good old iron to put color in your cheeks and good, sound healthy flesh on your bones. It is also a great nerve and stomach
strength ener and the best blood builder in the world. The only trouble was that the old forms of inorganic iron, ; like tincture of iron, iron acetate, etc., j often ruined people's teeth, upset their ! stomachs and were not assimilated, i and for these reasons they frequently i did more harm than good. But with i the discovery of the newer forms of I organic iron all this has been over- j come. Nuxated Iron, for example, is i pleasant to take, does not Injure the , teeth and is almost immediately bene-1
ficial. NOTE The manufacturers of Nux-1 ated Iron have such unbounded confi- ' dence in its potency that they authorize the announcement that they will : forfeit $100.00 to any Charitable Institution if they cannot take any man or woman under sixty who lacks iron and increase their strength 200 per, cent or over in four weeks' time, provided they have no serious organic ; trouble. Also they Will refund your, money in any case in which Nuxated Iron does not at least double your ; strength in ten days' time. It is dis
pensed in this city by Conkey Drug Co., Thistlethwaite Drug Stores and all other druggists. Adv.
