At Natco park, the Johnson-Fry and Atlas clubs will fight it out for the sole rights to the submarine position of the circuit Atlas can. by winning this one, move into a tie with the Fry outfit. At Easthaven. the leading Nats and now fast-moving Easthaven clash in a tangle which promises to be a ball game from first to last inning. The strength of the reorganized Easthaven club, is the talk of the circle and an Easthaven win .would be no surprise to many of the league dopesters.

HOBS BRING CROWD TO SCENE OF FRAY

Big preparations for the invasion of Richmond Sunday are being made at Hagerstown. Indications are that at least one hundred of the "Jefferson faithful" will accompany the Hubs to Athletic park for the "big" game of the season. Delegations from Williamsburg and Cambridge City will also be on band to help enliven things. Richmond, with its regular lineup stacks up against the best that Hagerstown, Cambridge City and Williamsburg offer in the way of base ball talent and the proceedings will be a rtrictly family affair all the way through.

BOWLERS WILL MEET

Knights of Columbus bowlers meet at the club this evening at 8 o'clock to effect an organization of the 1916-17 bowling circuit. All Knights interested in the sport are urged to attend the organization meeting.

a twenty-mile an hour rate toward El Paso until actually stopped by a railroad strike. Although the brotherhood men cannot oe forced to draw the troop trains in case a strike is called it is thought that they will under the provision of the order that in case of war the strike will be called off. In packing the supplies for the troops, no chances were taken, however. ; Three Sections Arrive. The first section came through at 3:40, the second at 4:10 and the third at 5:40 o'clock. Richmond's patriotic society failed to warn the citizens of the approach of the troop trains by the ringing of fire bells as officials had promised to do and consequently only a small crowd gathered to greet the boys. . Several of the troopers had ac

quaintances in Richmond and yesterday morning several telegrams were received at the local telegraph office from the troopers asking friends to meet them. ; ' Troops Will Detrain. If the brotherhood men will not draw the train in case a strike is called and if Congress does not authorize the drafting of train crews for military purposes soldiers might be used to run the trains. The regimental commander has the names of several men under him who can run an engine or do trainmen's service if an emergency arises. The officers on the trains however, indicated that in case of a tieup, the men would detrain and make camp at whatever point they are to await instructions.
