ANOTHER FISH STORY.

CAIN TEAM RUNS AWAY.

The career of James Anderson Burns is more fascinating than a romance from the pages of fiction and stranger than a tale from Arabian Nights. It is' the career of a man bound by the shackles of a mountain slavery stronger than the slavery which bound the negro before the Civil war. It is the career of a typical mountaineer of eastern Kentucky who had a vision of better things for his people and who dreamed of a day when they might receive an education. The career of a man who has seen his dreams come true. He will appear at the Richmond chautauqua, Thursday evening, August 31. Mr. Burns is the son of a mountain pioneer Baptist preacher and is a little more than fifty years old. An exl'eudist, a former member of the Baker faction of the Eaker-Kov.-ard

feud of the early '90s. He is more than six feet tall, raw-boned, massive frame, has small steel-blue eyes which

have a peculiar glint that may have been acquired by long and, continual sighting over a rifle barrel, for Mr. Burns is an expert in the use of that weapon.

. ECONOMY, Ind., Aug. 5. When the team of Thomas Cain ran away Thursday and smashed into a pine tree in the yard of Frank Cain, the wagon was badly damaged and the harness torn.

Just the Thing for Diarrhoea "About two years ago I had a severe attack of diarrhoea which lasted over a week," writes W. C. Jones, Buford, N. D. "I became so weak that I could not stand upright. A druggist recommended Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy. The first dose relieved me and within two days I was as well as ever." Many druggists recommend this remedy because they know that it is reliable. Obtainable everywhere. Adv.
