KREMOS TRIM PRESS BUNCH SCORE 7 TO 6

COMMERCIAL LEAGUE. Teams. Won. Lost. Pet. Feds 7 5 .583 Kremo 6 5 .545 Pennay 6 6 .500 Kaysee 5 6 .500 Press C 7 .461 Bankers 3 6 .375 Kremos, 7; Press. 6. Series of deep detonations closely resembling extraordinarily heavy thuds emitting from the Athletic park corral last evening obaut 6 o'clock, were not echoes of the shoot-the-chutes over at the carnival grounds. The disturbance was the erstwhile leading Commercial Press clan taking the billows from second to fifth position in the league race after Bayer's outfit of Kremos had worked the levers. Last night C-L. session, like most of 'em, was a bear from sunup until sunset, figuratively speaking. The Kremos, who claim to have languished in the basement long enough, came out to the lot last evening with the avowed purpose of changing positions with the Press. They did it all right. Van Zant and Suits for the Press, and Hockensmith. for the Bakers, all pitched good ball. The breaks, however, were with the lad of the extensive name. Details: A.B. R. H. P.O. A. E. Press. That the St. Mary's club of the Sunday school league is the real submarine craft of the circuit was more firmly established yesterday when Maher & Co., slipped back another notch, while Herb Bulach and his Lutherans went up the ladder a rung or two.
