SUE TO COLLECT ON NOTE 0FS500
The Wayne Internationa! Building and Loan association of Cambridge City filed suit in the circuit court this morning asking for $700 damages from Mary E. Lemon and Dolly C. Harris. According to the complaint, Mary Iemon borrowed $500 from the association Sept. 29, 1913. and gave a promissory, note and a mortgage on n lot in Cambridge City. She did not pay the note when it was due one year after it was signed and fai'd to pay the 1915 taxes on the lot or the Insurance on the buildings. These were paid by the association for its protection. The company in its suit asks the court to sell the Cambridge City property and to pay the $700 which it asks for attorneys' fees,. the j mount of the note, interest and money "xptuded on the property.
MOOSE KEEPS ROOMS FOR 2 YEARS LONGER
Because the lease for the present quarters of the Moose lodge at S30Vs Main street does not expire for about two years, no immediate steps are being taken to prepare the new Moose home, at the old John F. Miller residence. The committee which has the matter in charge does not propose to take any steps for some time, since the lodge home could not be moved from its present location until the lease has expired or some satisfactory arrangement for canceling it has been made.

POSTAL STATION AT THE CHAUTAUQUA
Mail will be delivered at the Chautauqua this year under the same arrangements that has been made in previous years. All persons who want the mail delivered at the grounds must notify the postoffice employes some time before the Chautauqua starts. They may send in letters or call personally at the general delivery window. Two times a day during the Chautauqua mail will be put in sacks am' r.twi to the grounds, where a substation will be conducted by the management of the Chautauqua.
EASTWARD MOVEMENT EXPECTED BY TROOPS
In the opinion of local railway offiials the next troop trains that pass through Richmond will be those bearing the soldier boys back to their homes in the East. For two weeks now no troop or munition trains have passed through Richmond bound for the border camps.
TAKES REST IN EAST.
William Drischell, clerk in the office of division engineer, Pennsy, is spending his vacation in the East. Fellow workers yesterday received a wire from "Bill" who was "making" Buffalo, N. Y., at the time.
BOY COUNCIL CALLED
Benjamin Harris, boy mayor, has called a meeting of the boy council for Thursday night. Important matters to do with organization will come up at this meeting. It will be decided whether or not the Boy Scouts will be asked to act as policemen. Various city officials will be present and will instruct the boys in the fundamentals of city government. At this meeting young Harris will announce several appointments, and will make his recommendations to the various subcommittees.

CALL RECTOR NEXT FALL
No effort is being made to secure a new minister for St. Paul's Episcopal church at the present time. The work of choosing a new pastor will be taken up again in the fall.
OGDEN DRAWS FINE.
Iven C. Ogden was fined $10 and costs in the city court this afternoon. In delivering ice to George W. Horarighouse he failed to weigh it and was representing a cake to weigh 25 pounds when in reality it only weighed 20 pounds.
"A level bridge will never be constructed at the Main street crossing of the Whitewater river," William O. Seaney, county commissioner, said today. "Wayne county is not in a financial position to pay out the amount of money required for the construction of a level bridge and the farmers of the county would never stand for the useless expenditure. The petitions which are being circulated will have no effect on the decision of the commissioners because they cannot represent the views of all the taxpayers or even a small percent of them." ,
AUTOMOBILES VIOLATE NEW TRAFFIC ORDERS
Approximately 75 per cent of the motor vehicles in the city are ignoring the traffic signs which have been placed at downtown street intersections. This was revealed by a count made last night at North Eighth and A streets. Automobiles which made the turn almost invariably went to the left and inside of the signs instead of circling it to the right' as is required by law.
METHODISTS HOLD OUTING.
Athletic events furnish the chief amusements at the annual picnic of the First Methodist church, which is being held at Glen Miller this afternoon and evening. Features of the afternoon sports were races for women and girls and a baseball game.
DIRTY AND RAGGED MONEY WORRIES THIS POSTAL CLERK
CHANGES JURISDICTION
Upon the motion of the prosecuting attorney, the case of the state against John F. Maher for selling misbranded meats was dismissed from circuit court this morning. The same case has been fild in the city court, and prosecutor Reller decided that it would be best for it to be tried there.
People mistreat Uncle Sam's money. At least that's what a postoffice employe claims. It is a constant grievance to him to have bills passed through his window which are torn, dirty and wrinkled. "Everybody ought to be careful with Uncle Sam's bills," he said, as he carefully pasted a torn bill and stacked it with its brothers. "You see how I keep these bills smoothed out and neatly stacked. That's so the edges won't wrinkle."
