RAIN STOPS U LEAGUE IN COUNTY 1 Organization of the Wayne county baseball association, the body that Hill promote and arrange the county series, was held up by the driving rainstorm which hit Wayne county last evening. Everything had been set for the organization meeting at .Williamsburg. The near-storm, however held up the parties of Richmond, Cambridge City and Hagerstown promoters, who planned to make the trip to Williamsburg by machine. The meeting probably will be . held next Monday evening at Williamsburg. This date, however, Is tentative. , Indications are that the four leading clubs of Wayne county Cambridge City. Hagerstown. Williamsburg and 'Richmond will have no trouble in getting together on the county series deal. All managers favor the series and though several matters relative dates and playing fienlds will have to be settled, it is pot expected that a hitch will occur that will tie up the plans for an early etart of the county title games.
