The statistics were 4-0 at the close of the flare. ' Kaysee attempted a comeback in its part of the next. Singles, bones and boots netted the Knights three. Future High Stars Keep in Training
Various are the ways the some one hundred prospectives of the 1916-17 Richmond Hi basketball team are keeping in condition for the campaign certain to be staged along the latter part of September when Coach Robert Nohr, Jr., gives the signal for the first mobilization work. Despite the off season, the heat, other work and diversions, the future Browns, Porters, Merandas and Cys of the R. H. S. have not for the moment lost sight of the campaign Just in the offing. Its a case of "Remember Brookville," with all of 'em. The old guard the veterans, as it were, of the '16 combine Russ Parker Cuty Dollins and Tal Jessup, are right here on the grounds and working out at the playground every day. And they need that work, too. Jessup, one of the likeliest prospects of the team, has gained something like twenty , pounds since the close of the March campaign. Dollins and Parker are waxing heavy in like proportions. The trio probably will average upward of 165' or 170 pounds by start of the next season. The rest of the '16-'17 crowd are not forgetting the heavy work scheduled for next fall and winter. Miller, E. PLAN SHAM SCRAP BY DRILL COMPANY The drill squad, which met last night in the old Rumely building, was commanded by Fred Bayer, who will have charge of the work while Captain Paul Comstock is out of the city. About 35 -men were present. The men are adopting a campaign, under Bayer's direction, for enlarging the squad. Each man has promised to bring a new member with him Friday night. On Sunday morning Bayer hopes to have enough additions to the company to make possible a sham battle. He will put the company through the extended order drill on Sunday.
