EATON, O., July 20. Bids for the construction of Preble county's proposed $250,000 . courthouse probably will be received August 24 by the building commission. The commission has directed the architects to make a few revisions in the specifications and the time for awarding the contract has been delayed a few weeks.

MILTON, Ind., July 20. The Epworth League of Doddridge chapel, will give a play, a rollicking comedy, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Clevenger, on Saturday evening, July 22. After the play, the remainder of. the evening will be spent in a social manner. Those who enjoyed the play and social given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clevenger, last year may expect just as good a time this year.
