COUNTY SERIES BEING PLANNED 8Y LOCAL CLUB
Organization of an association that will have as . Its purpose the promotion of a county-wide baseball championship series between the leading teams of Wayne county, will be effected soon, it was announced by officials of the Richmond club, today. Williamsburg, Cambridge City, Hagerstown and Richmond, recognized as the four leading teams in Wayne county, in all probability will comprise the association membership. The organization meeting will be called by the Richmond club. No date has been set for the meeting. The teams involved in the deal are booked up for the next few playing dates and until all schedules have been cleared no attempt will be made to get the county title series v,nder way. The association when organized, will arrange and Eettle all matters pertaining to the series of games to be played in settling the county championship. Schedule, player rulings and other matters will be made out and 'settled by the association.
