LIBERTY. Ind., July 10. Albert Post, son of Sheriff E. E. Post, has been appointed carrier for the delivery and collection of mall in Liberty under the delivery system which will be established about ,the first of September. Andrew H. Smith has been appointed substitute carrier. R. F. Stuart, the inspector from Indianapolis was here and arrangeemnts have been made for the establishment of the system. BIG GAR SKIDS EAST OF CITY
A seven passenger! automobile bearing an Ohio license, No. 1996, skidded over a five foot embankment about a mile and one-half east of town on the old National Road, Saturday evening about 4 o'clock. The driver, who gave his name as Howard B. Jones, -Dayton, was by himself and was , uninjured save for a few minor scratches. The car was badly . damaged, the top and right fender being demolished and the rear back wheel sprung out of line. The mechanism in general was badly 6trained. A mule team was required to pull the machine out.
