Miss Rachael Throckmorton, who Is a student at Battle Creek sanitarium, is spending her vacation here. III., and also for Miss Elizabeth Sands, who will spend a few days In Milton before going to Chicago, where she will be married in August, Miss Anna Bradbury entertained with an informal thimble party this afternoon at her home, North Fourteenth street. Mrs. E. H. Mendenhall has gone to Detroit, Michigan, to spend some time with her brother, Mr. George Brown. She was accompanied by her father, Mr. Irvin Brown of Detroit, who has been a guest at the Mendenhall home. Mr. Neil Bly of Muncie, returned last evening after a few days visit in this city. A big dinner was served. BOY BLEEDS TO DEATH. BLOOMINGTON, Ind., June 22. The ten-year-old son of John Parker bled to death from an injury received when he fell from a cherry tree and his neck was pierced by a stick. The injury did- not seem serious for several days, until yesterday it began bleeding and today he died.
