Sparks of North Main street entertained Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sparks and daughter of Lewis villo Monday and Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Knapp enter tained at dinner Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Stiinbach of Cambridge City and Mrs. Ida Lawson. C. B. Reynolds returned to his home here Friday from Tampico, Mexico, where he spent some time. He had serious experiences In making his exit from that country. He was robbed and was In two railroad wrecks. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Whitesell and Mrs. Ella Whitesell entertained Mr. and Mrs. James Pence and daughter Mary Louise, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Whitesell, Mr. and Mrs. David Boyd of An8onIa, and Mr. and Mrs. Adam Geisler at Dinner Sunday. Miss Sadie Petty and members of her Sunday school class were entertained Thursday evening by Mr. nnd Mrs. T.. T. Bousman, west of town. After a Jolly time playing on the lawn refreshments were served. The decorations were rosea. Those present were Guy Stahr, Smith Doughty. Lenora Smith spent Sunday with Miss Anna Diiling. Mrs. John Geisler, who lost he.r suit case some time ago, came in possession of the same Saturday, with all its contents. It arrived from some place in Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foland of New Castle spent Sunday night with friends here. They attended yearly meeting Saturday and Sunday at the Salem Baptist church, east of town. Local Boy Scouts were out in a body doing scout work. There was a big Sunday school rally at New Lisbon and an automobile arrived here early Sunday morning for the boys, and they were taken to tnat place. They rendered assistance by doing traffic officer work in handling the crowds and parking machines. They reported an attendance of 1,856. They also reported a Sunday school rally at Mooreland with an attendance of 1,236. West Manchester By Myrtle Trone. Rev. A. Bitler and family of Middletown, arrived here Frday evening to visit with West Manchester friends. ....D. A. Poe spent Friday at Lewisburg with his son Roy, and wife Mrs. Ann McGriff and two daughters spent the week-end at West Alexandria John Gauch and family, John L. Waldren and family and Miss Bertie Waldren were Sunday guests of Chester Fouble and wife. Dayton Visitors Here. Miss Shearl Emerick of Dayton, spent Sunday with her parents at this place Wanda Lucile infant daughter of Harry Templin and wife died Thursday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Templin. Services were held at the home of Rev. Weimer Saturday morning. Burial at Twin Creek chapel cemetery Mrs. Frank Cole and son Harold, returned Friday evening to their home in Camden after a two weeks visit with her mother, Mrs. Sarah Ludy Miss Carrie Neth was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Poe from Wednesday until Friday Mrs. Elizabeth Holtry of Lewisburg, spent Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Arless Furry.
