At the first service the orchestra gave a special number and Will Daniel gave a violin solo, with his daughter Miss Florence, accompanying on the piano. At the morning hour for worship the Rev. Mr. Taylor, pastor gave a short talk preceding the baptism and reception of members. At the service, the special number in music was a quartet, composed of Mr. Allen, Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. A. J. Brown and the Rev. Mr. Taylor. Children Baptised. At the close of the services Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Revelee presented four children for baptism. As the bady was presented the members of the Esther Bible class, of whom Mrs. Revelee is a member formed around the altar and after the baptism, the Rev. and Mrs. Taylor sang a duet, "That Sweet Story of Old. In the evening the program, "God's Goodness and Love," was given. The church was decorated with cut flowers and foliage. The church was packed, the crowd being about 300. The program included songs, readings, talks, xercises and drills. Special numbers in music were a quartet composed of Mrs. Taylor, Miss Lillian puGranrut. Miss Florence Daniel, Mrs J. A. Brown, with Miss Carrie Michael at the piano. A quartet, composed of Rev. Mr. Taylor, Walter Houseworth, J. A. Brown and Mr. Allen. TBe orchestra also gave several numbers among which were a violin solo, by Harold Daniel and a trio, composed of Arthur Reese cello, Will Daniel violin, Miss Florence Daniel, piano. The offering for the evening was $8.28. Personal Mention. Dr. and Mrs. L. M. Gentle and family of Richmond, visited relatives here and attended Children's Day Sunday. John Coyne, Miss Helen Coyne and Mrs. XDliver Wallace formed an auto party to Richmond Saturday Frank Leibhardt of Richmond, visited friends here Sunday Miss Minnie Higham entertained the Jolly TwentyFour club at her country home south of town, Friday afternoon in a very pleasing manner. A good time was the result. Nice refreshments were served by the hostess Virnie Warner, east of town, in the Doddridge neighborhood was seriously hurt internally Friday while ringing a male hog Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Eh .11 and daughter, were at Richmond, Sunday to visit Mrs. O. L. Beeson at the Reid Memorial hospital. She was getting along "veil Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lantz and daughter of Pendleton, and Mr. and Mrs.fl Park Lantz of Petoskey, formed a company with B. F.
