Lee B. Nusbaum and George H. Knollenberg, local merchants, were in Indianapolis yesterday attending the meeting of the state dry good3 merchants' association. This evening a banquet will be given at the German house, to which invitations have been issued to all members of the association living outside of. Indianapolis. Mr. Nusbaum is one of the directors of the association.

BOY RESCUES CHILD
GREEXCASTLE, Ind., June 14. A fifteen-year-old boy saved a three-year-old daughter of Herbert Elmore from death by fire, when he rushed through the burning house to the second floor and rescued the sleeping child.
ABANDONS PLANS. FOR THIRD CAMP
Local boosters of the Fort Benjamin Harrison training camps have been informed that the third training camp has been cancelled. The government gives as its reason for cancelling the camp which was to be held Sept. 8 to Oct. that it cannot spare the men required at the camp. The other two camps will be held as scheduled.
NAZARENES TO SPEND $1,000 ON REPAIRS
First Pentecostal church of the Nazarene, which recently purchased the old Fifth street M. E. church, is making extensive repairs on the building. The roof and belfry have been repaired and the replastering of the ceiling will be started in a few days. The inside of the church will be redecorated. About $1,000 has been raised in the financial canvass. Most of this will be used in making repairs on the church. The first payment on the church property has been made and the remainder of the $1,800 due will be paid out in annual $600 installments.
