The Woman's History club was entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Petro at the County Infirmary Thursday. The ladies were shown over the buildings by Mrs. Leah Petro before the dinner hour. After the ladies and others present had partaken of the good dinner that had been prepared by the host and hostess, the ladles of the club and the Invited guests repaired to the parlor, where the president called the club to order, and a short program was rendered. The responses to roll call was picturesque Indiana. There was music by Miss Blanche Boyd of Cambridge City, who played and sang, "The Lord Is My Shepherd;" a paper was read by Mrs.' Hower on, "Art and Music" and "Indiana's -Artists and Musicians; a reading, "The Heron Art Institute," was given by Mrs. Bert Wickoff. There was music by Miss Blanche Boyd. After adjournment, those going by rail had to hurry away, other who came in autos tarried, while others who came in autos tarried, while to be transported to their homes at Hagerstown. There were 17 club ladies present and five visitors, who were, Mrs. Raymond Small, Mrs. Robert Thurston, Mrs. Monroe Sherry, Miss Blanche Boyd and Mrs. Addie Bowman of Richmond. Others accompanying the party were Monroe Sherry, John Hunt, Alleen Hower, Virginia Unthank, Louise Hower, Rena Thurston, Josephine Small, Gordon Murray, Stanley Murray and Mary Werking. W. F.
