CHESTER, In L, June 1. Bert Carman and family attended Memorial lervices aV Centerville Sunday. The funeral of Mr. Foin, father of Mrs. Charles Deltemeyer -was held at the residence of Charles Deltemeyer Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mr. Foin ha6 been living -with his 'daughter for the past few weeks. His death occurred Friday morning at 4 o'clock.. . . Miss Clara Kendall came home Saturday for the summer vacation.;.. .She has been teaching in the schools at Splceland, Ind., the past winter..... Children's Day exercises will be held here Sunday evening, June; 11.....

HOWES WILL JUDGE POULTRY AT EATON

EATON, O., June 1. Hon. Theodore Howes of Indianapolis will place the awards upon winners when the Preble County Poultry association helds it next meeting in Eaton. His selection as judge was made at the last meeting of the association. Under the direction of the association Prof. M. C. Klrkpatrick of the agricultural extension department of Ohio State University, will come to Preble county in the near future to deliver a series of lectures on topics of interest to poultrymen and farmers.
