YES, CHARLES BECK IS SEEING THAT LAWN IS TENDED
Have you noticed any thing unusual
about the postoffice lawn.
Chances are that you have and that you might have wondered Just whom It is who takes such painstaking care of the grass plots, shrubbery and flowers adorning the Federal building lawn. Postmaster Beck, in a large measure, is- "guilty," , Mr. Beck is. a lover of nature and it is largely through his Influence that the Federal building property appears so attractive in the summer time.
ELKS EATING FISH, , NO THIS IS NOT NOTE FROM ZOO ', Some fish, 11 pounds. And the Elks are going to eat it at a big supper tonight. It was caught by Dr. F.'S. Anderson on a recent fishing trip to Newaygo, Mich. And Dr. Anderson isn't the least bit excited over it for he tells calmly while listening to compliments on hi3 Bkill that this is only a small one for "I myself have caught fish weighing as much as 16 pounds."
CANT LOSE HAIR
Twenty Years from Today a Baldhead ed Man Will be an Unusual Sight. One of the most prominent druggists of America made a statement a few weeks ago which has caused a great deal of discussion among scientists in the medical press. He said: "If the new hair grower, Mildredina Hair Remedy, Increases its salea as it has during the past year, it will be used by nearly every man, woman and child in America within eight years. "When Mildredina Hair Remedy is used almost universally, dandruff will disappear and with its departure baldness, Itching scalp, splitting hair and all scalp diseases will follow and twenty years from now a bald head will be a rarity." Sample sent for 10c to pay postage. Mail orders filled by Mildred Louise Co., Boston, Mass. For sale by A. G. Luken & Co. Adv.

Brawny Men Now Demanded in All Plants
No Room In Present Day Industries for Nervous, Run-Down Men.
Today the man who is unit and repeatedly asks for a day off must fall in at the end of the long industrial procession. The wheels of industry must turn 6teadily and be manned by men of health and brawn. The captains do not wait upon the health workers. A man's physical fitness is left to him. Knowing this fact. R. Verbryke took a short cut to physical efficiency. He is an assembler at the great Gram-Bristein Motor Truck Co., and resides at 240 Harrison avenue, Lima. Ohio. "I had a bad case of stomach trouble and indigestion for eighteen months." he told. "Nothing I ate would digest. It would lie there and the pain and weight around my heart almost cut off my breath at times. I did not eat any dinner xand very little supper and my strength began to go. Still I gat no better in spite of doctoring all the time. Often I would take dizzy spells and have spots before my eyes. My heart would run away when i laid down. I got but
little sleep and had to lay off three or four days each month. "A comrade at the plant, knowing I laid off sick a great deal, asked me If I wouldn't try a bottle of Tanlac to please him," explained Verbryke. "And the way it brought me out pleased him as much as me. My stomach has not bloated a bit since the third dose. I again eat my noonday lunch and enjoy supper. I never have a pain and my heart beats right. I have not had one dizzy spell. Bed looks good to me, for now I can sleep. I can work faster since I used Tanlac and 1 will lose no more time." For nervous, run-down, over worked men and women, Tanlac, the ideal tissue builder, tonic, appetizer and invigorant, has proven invaluable. Tanlac builds up the system, promotes digestion and proper assimilation of food, vitalizes the blood and brings back healthy color to the cheeks and
real sparkle to the eyes. Tanlac is being especially introduced in Richmond at Clem Thistlethwaite's. where the Tanlac Man daily explains its merits. Tanlac may be obtained at the following nearby Ohio cities: New Paris, E. M. Kessler; Eldorado, O. H. Mastin; New Madi6on, Thomas Ewbank; Eaton, Lake Drug Co.; Camden, J. H. Bohn; West Alexandria, H. N. Price; Greenville, Kipp Drug Co. Adv.
