SEARCH FOR CHILD. TIPTON, Ind., May 23. Searching parties scoured the country for hours for the three-year-old child of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Thomas after the parents were thrown from a buggy by a runaway horse. The child was found in the buggj having slept during the runaway.

. HAGERSTOWN, Ini. May 24. The tody of Clifford Rogers, S6, son of Walter and Linda Rogers, was brought her Monday and buried in Westlawn cemetery. The family lived here 30 years ago and later located in Indianapolis. - Mr. Rogers died Friday. Death was due to asthma. The funeral was held at Indianapolis Sunday. The Rev. A- C Wischmeier conducted a short service at the grave. He Is survived by ' hiswidow; mother, one sister, Mrs. Gertie Gocar and one brother, Frank Rogers, of Detroit.. ' The funeral of Charles Turner will be held at the church of the Brethren tomorrow. Mr. Turner died, at his heme in Connersville. - He formerly lived here. -
MISS FILBY GOES TO ATTEND EXERCISE
CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind., May 24. Miss Helen Filby left Wednesday, for Lutherville, Maryland, to be present at the commencement exercises of Maryland college, and to spend a week with Miss Alice McCaffrey who is a student in that institution. Following the commencement, both ladies will go to New York for an extended visit with the latter's aunt, Mrs. James Peacock. ....Mr. and Mrs. Will Shutz and Mr. and,Mr8. Charles L. Shuts were the guests of friends at Williamsburg, Sunday..... Earl Lundy, who recently underwent an operation for appendicitis at the Reld Memorial hospital, has so far recovered as to be able to resume his duties as assistant cashier of the First National bank. A letter from B. F. Wissler, who is spending a few weeks at Hugo, Okla., states that the spring is far advanced, the strawberry crop harvested and the corn three feet high. Prices of commodities in general are not different from those in Indiana, except meats which are cheaper than in this state.
