The W. L. Harris poolroom at West Manchester, O., was robbed Friday night and the burglars made good their getaway with $25. The money had been left in the cash register. The burglary was not discovered until Saturday evening. The place is open only at nights. Only artillery ac tion took place on the Verdun front last night, the French war office announced today. Heavy artillery fire was concentrated on the French positions in Avocourt wood and on Hill No. 304, west of the Meuse. The communique states, however, that no infantry assaults were delivered by the Germans. BOMBARD TURK TOWN SALONIKI, May 15. French aviators on Sunday bombarded the town of Xanthi, where the Tenth division of the Bulgarian army is encamped. About four hundred bombs were dropped by aeroplanes, causing heavy damage to the barracks and the Zeppelin sheds. The aviators returned safely. HOLD SOCIAL SESSION.
