ELIGIBILITY RULING AFFECTS GARFIELD Garfield school student council has ruled that air athletes participating in the annual track and field meet must have passing grades in all subjects of school work. This means that a goodly number of track prospectives are to be declared ineligible unless they get busy and improve their grades at once. The council decided that a student to be eligible for school athletics must have a passing grade of not less than 70 per cent with the interest grade to be added. The ruling was passed after some discussion on the part of seeverl student council members, who objected to the stringency of the grading rule.TENNIS COURTS DONE With the completion of repairs and ground conditioning work at the association's courts in South Twentysecond street, the Richmond Lawn Tennis Association is ready for the season's openers. The grounds have been completely overhauled, the courts have been rolled. The R. T. A. now boasts of four of the finest courts in the city.
