The Missionary society of the Reid Memorial Presbyterian church met yesterday afternoon at the church. Mrs. Rutherford B. Jones led the devotional exercises. Mrs. Charles Black read a paper on "Mission Work In China" followed by a paper on "Meical Missions" read by Mrs. R. B. Nlles. Mrs. G. F. Gault sang several numbers.

A dance will be given Tuesday evening in the Eagles' hall and a number of invitations have been issued. A saxophone trio will play and there will be cabaret singing and refreshments.
Omicron Sigma fraternity members with" their girl friends and special guests will attend the dance to be givn Thursday eveinng in the Odd Fellows' ball. There will be special dance music. Mr. Herbert Thompson is chairman of the committee.
