The feature of the suffrage banquet to be given at the Claypool hotel in Indianapolis, in connection with the Franchise league convention, will be, an address by Mrs. Demarchus 'Brown. Mrs. Brown is an active worker for the suffrage cause and as a speaker is well known throughout the state, appearing on many programs.

JOHN BLACK DIES

EATON, O., April 13 John C. Black, 59, ill for many weeks from the effects of dropsy and other complications, died about 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at his home, Barron and Wadsworth streets. -. He i3 survived by his widow and, four children, Miss Carrie Black, Clarence and Walter Black, of this city, and Harry Black of Detroit. He also leaves one brother, P. R. Black, of Dayton, and two sisters, Mrs. S. C.vSiders and Mrs. Alonzo Cole, of this city. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in First Christian church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. McD. Howsare. Burial will be in Mound Hill cemetery.

WILL GOODWIN DIES

CAMBRIDGE CITV, Ind., April 13. William Goodwin, aged 42 years, died Teusday evening at" his home in East Cambridge. He is survived by his widow and two sons. The funeral took place this afternoon at. the home, Rev. Aaron Scheidler being the officiating clergyman. Interment was in the old cemetery east'of, town.

EATON. O . April 13. Superintendent. B. S. Davis, of New Paris, for many years a member of the board of deputy state supervisors of elections, will resign May 1. He probably will be succeeded by WiHiam L. Burtner of Twin township, who has been recommended for appointment. The services of Davis as a member of the board have been marked by efficiency.

ALEXANDRIA, Ind., April 13. Wood row Wilson was nominated for president at the rriock Democratic convention held at the high' school.

Mix, 1j4 quarts of this solution with 18 qts. of pure water.- Water that has been boiled is preferable. . Stir these until they are thoroughly mixed. A stone jar Is -the most suitable vessel for the mixing. Two eightgallon. jars are sufficient for 30 dozen eggs using the, amount of solution as prescribed, above. After the water glass is thoroughly mixed, divide it into the different vessels to be used. Be sure that the vessels are absolutely clean. ..Place the eggs into the water. glass and see that the eggs are covered by at Jeast 2 inches of the liquid, and cover the jars to prevent evaporation. Plate them in a cool place. Preserve only fresh eggs try them and see if they sink fresh eggs sink. Don't preserve dirty eggs or eggs that have been washed. Do not use the same liquid over one year.
